No rest for the wicked - just 23 hours after the International Open ends in China, off we go again - the Champion of Champions tournament in Coventry starts.

22/1 S.Murphy v J.Robertson 80/1
8/1 Ding v M.Georgiou 300/1
Group 4 (Tuesday)
11/4 R.O'Sullivan V S.Bingham 33/1
8/1 J.Higgins v R.Day 33/1
Group 3 (Wednesday)
12/1 M.Williams v K.Wilson 22/1
10/1 J.Trump v L.Brecel 100/1
Group 2 (Thursday)
13/2 M.Selby v N.Robertson 16/1
18/1 B.Hawkins v M.Allen 16/1
SFs are winner of Group 1 v winner of Group 4 (Friday), and winner of Group 3 v winner of Group 2 (Saturday).
R.O'Sullivan looks by far the most likely winner given his love of tournaments like this and a format that appears tailor made for him. He's had a good rest since 'the incident' and he looks like the one to beat if he's put that to the back of his mind. At a bigger price - I think it's possible that S.Murphy will show some improvement in the form he's shown this season. He's recently relocated his family to Ireland, and become a father again, so his mind has clearly been elsewhere. His win here last season was a significant one for him as he beat R.O'Sullivan in the final after a series of weak efforts against him. The bottom half looks like a minefield, and at least M.Allen and N.Robertson don't have to play until Thursday. My preference is for M.Williams who, will hopefully be fully motivated for this after 1 or 2 lacklustre efforts in China.

Seen it all from ronnie before but still never fails to shock me. That miss on 52 at 8-6 was the clincher, just seemed to launch into full fold mode from that point. Hari kiri on that black in the last frame.

Only a single one visit frame win for kyren all match, should have had that done and dusted but ronnie is a jammy fecker for sure

Not sure how you begin to analyze that match. Bizarre crazy stuff. Quite enjoyed it though I have to say
Fabulous drama, and despite all our moans about the pockets etc, you sometimes need a match like that to remind you of just how great the game is. OK, the standard wasn't very high but it was compulsive viewing. It will be interesting to see how K.Wilson recovers from this. He really should give the N.Ireland Open a miss and regroup before The UK.
frames - he hit 1.03 for a couple of quid but plenty at 1.04 and 1.05 when Ronnie went to 23 I was sure I was watching slower picture as the frame wasn't won so didn't lay off. Sickening yes but great entertainment for my bet.
