Ding needs to be more considerate here, some terrible choices being made, getting very little gain and risking far too much..
slow down and think twice fella |

By:
Does he have any idea of value, honestly, what a cluster fcuk.....
By:
Well the double was the right shot, he missed it, and the rest shot was the right shot, he just missed that as well.

Ding Junhui in so much trouble! Who was backing him odds on in a race to 17 versus Selby
His win over the past it Ronnie twisted a few people'ss minds to think he has the stones![]() |

Agreed bob, win lose or draw, a crazy price on Ding. Ronnie was extremely poor.

By:
Selbys long potting been superb. Ding, not so much.
By:
The double was absolutely the wrong shot behind in the frame by 20 odd and no other red available, no value in that risk and reward.......the wrong shot
The rest shot he had little option but instead of making a gain he unnecessarily incurred a loss by not taking enough care....bad shot |

Ding will never win a WC
By:
Hasn't someone started a thread saying 2/1 was a great bet 4 Ding to win the whole thing

he's playing a child
in a child's body |

By:
9-7 down would be a serious result here for Ding way Selby is playing....and way Ding is playing!
By:
Only a somewhere near his best Higgins stops Selby, and that looks unlikely.
The child in the child's body sure don't have the minerals. |

It's probably an 80%+ shot that lands on the black with an angle to bring the red out. Angela are you mad Making that double and getting an angle to remove the red is 80%plus, never that, no way.. You fail to mention the consequences of a miss when 20 odd behind in the frame with only 2 reds left... I repeat risk/reward...the wrong shot........... | |

The double was the right shot, of course it was.

He has lost 4 frames on the trot by making very poor shot selection..
By:
Dings safety letting him down from what i've seen.
By:
Angela he has not won a frame, so he must have lost that frame...........
By:
pecker you are on a loser here, the double was unquestionably the shot.
100% of pros take it on. Being 20 behind even more reason to go for it. |
By:
Where was the value when the other red was on the cushion...
Being 20 odd behind was the very reason he should not have taken it because a miss made it almost certain he would loose the frame.. He gambled and lost... Mark Selby very rarely gambles....... |
