RELENTLESS

This is the day you'd expect M.Selby to gain ground irrespective of what the 1st session score was. Two sessions in the day and a chance for him to really get into the mind of his opponent. There will be a monumental audience watching in China given the time, and if Ding can safely negotiate today, you'd think he'd have passed his most searching examination so far. It's a big 'if' though. A fascinating session awaits...

Looked totally played out to me played awful,he must've made 20 mistakes in those 8 frames ding didn't even have to play well, think he overplayed himself in the previous round looks in panic mode to me as wondering where his forms gone.Going to be a dire semi like the other one, think the final will struggle to get out of 2nd gear as well..

By:
Thats the problem, you could have Selby winning 4 + titles in this mug era.
Mark J Williams be left on 2. ![]() |
By:
Doherty, Ebdon, Murphy, Dott, Robertson, Murphy, Bingham, Selby.
Those eight players have won a world title since Williams turned professional. He has made three World Finals, the same amount as Graeme Dott. If Selby wins four World titles - in any era - that makes him a better player than Williams, whatever your personal view. |
By:
Sorry, I appear to have counted Murphy twice.
By:
ding reverting to mug mode

That shot there from Selby was absolute butchery.
By:
Telling you jtb, not easy playing snooker this early.
By:
It's not natural.
By:
Ding's had so many lucky kisses off baulk colours from bad safeties in this comp - at least four against Ronnie alone.
By:
Oh look, there's another one
By:
Well, in terms of world titles he will be. He still only has 2 though, and Mark J in his pomp was superior.
Whoever wins this year's bucket pocket mug fest as Alex might say can 'shove it up their jacksie', I long for the good old days. |
By:
I'm afraid that in snooker, world titles are what maketh the man, which is why Ronnie will never ever be as good as Hendry.
By:
Ding, engage that little brain of yours pretty damn quick...........
Giving up frames so easily like local Sunday morning..... |

All the colours open, one red left, and apparently whoever gets the next red will be favourite for the frame, no shizzle!
By:
You can't fancy Ding for any frame like this really.
