great comeback,top guy,did what he had 2 do but how can ronnie lose so comprehensively from such a seemingly insuperable position?

it's tough because you don't want ronnie winning everything so easily - so in that case snooker didn't lose. A player like selby though and his style of play/ability - that type of player cannot take the game forward. In that sense snooker loses. His boring/slow play will not attract fans and it is telling in that one player is still bigger than the game (ronnie). Snooker desparately needs a trump or a ding type player to kick on.

A top performance by the Jester. As Ronnie stated " he had him on the ropes for large parts of the match". A performance of a top champion. Take a bow son. Well done
