Basic tactic... Knock a lot of reds into awkward positions, when you get in, make short breaks and then drain the life out of them with safety

Hendry past his sell buy date at that point and would never compromise (ie) would never play any safety,
my fav match between the 2 was the Liverpool Victoria, Stephen 8 - 2 up, Ronnie reels off 6 frames in a row, Hendry has a 147 in the final frame. im a big Hendry fan , the amount of cash he won me over the years would add up to a lot of dosh. |

You can see though why the sport needs ronnie so much. Players like Selby simply don't have the game to take the sport forward/make it attractive to new fans etc. Hopefully Trump/Ding can really kick on in the coming years as the sport is too great to rely on one player as heavily as it does.
