I was under the impression that it was money back if your selection made a max.
When I found out this afternoon that it was equivalent odds, I thought it was a crazy offer. Hour or so later, my mate was buzzing on nailing Hendry at 80/1. He had £2.50, his mate £5, and several other punters at small stakes. As I understand it, the bet was on the outrights, so I don't think there'd be any limits. Great to see Baldy shafted on this and well done to those who got on. |

Yer and ladcrooks accept about 4p per bet online. Only doable if they have the same offer in shops which I don't know if they did or not.

with regards the 147 offer, my account has been credited with free bets, not cash, it doesnt mention this anywhere in their t&c's, surely this cant be right, giving someone a free bet isnt the same as paying out as a winner

it was Betfred, and unless im reading it wrong, it doesnt state here that winning will be given as free bets, and even so on their site today they are saying

That's bang out of order 8 ball. You can still turn it in to cash by "scalping" the free bets. i.e Back at high odds and laying off on an exchange as long as you remember the stake isn't included in the free bets.

I had £17 on Hendry with the Fred mob and my "free account" has been credited with the money as a free bet. Not cash but a free bet. What a shower this mob are. Ive been emailing them back and forward all day and all the say is that "free bets will be credited within 48 hours" They now say the matter is closed.
It says nowhere the winnings are a free bet. Winning are winnings, not more free bets. Bunch of gangsters this mob. Ive threatened them with all manner of things and Ive contacted the gambling regulator in gibraltar. IBAS may or may not also be a possible avenue. Be interested to hear other peoples stories over this. They are stealing the punters money in all but name to save their sorry holes. Never mentioned anywhere in the t+cs than "winnings would be as a free bet" Ive now a ludicrous free bet of £1377. |

Surely this can not be allowed. He's made an error offering this but surely can't get away with not paying out. You can't make offers and just change them to suit. Disgrace. Say what you want about PP you would never see this happen with them.

I remonstrated with them to the point of saying what they had advertised and what they had done were fraud. I got a one line reply saying their marketing team confirm the returns were to be paid out as free bets. Pity no one else and certainly not the punters knew this. They now say the case is closed. What a f00k**g cheek. It might be closed for them but not for me. And the lying dogs advertised on their site that Hendry punters had been paid out.
Sickening thing is too that Laddies were giving the same offer but I done it with Baldy cos of the Trump money back concession and double the odds if your player wins. Presumably if Hendry wins now Ill get my 160/1 to my stake in more imaginary money in the way of free bets. I would implore any backers of Hendry with this dispicable crowd keep at them. If we all keep them under pressure we might just get them to cave in. I would also ask you to use IBAS for this matter. If IBAS end up with a whole lot of punters complaining about the same thing they might just take them to task. |

sorry cant help with the 147 offer etc, but ive just read fridays racing post, and regarging the offer on trump winning and bets refunded, it says in small print, bets online/ phone will be credited as free bets, in stores it will be given as cash back, i presume stores mean shops, hope this might help if trump wins.
