Mallinder might be on his way after this season. Spent a long time going nowhere and this performance is hardly unusual.

Biarritz are the winners today if nothing changes in the last few minutes.

Watch your bets in France if you are flicking between games as it is due to end on 79 mins

Northampton in, right in the corner.

20-20 with 8 mins left.

Dunno if he did, but he had to be a contender based on the fact that he is English and coaches a team. I certainly breathed a huge sigh of relief when it wasn't him  -  would have been more dull than under Robinson.

wight is so bad glasgow would rather play without a recognised scrum half

Should put Matawalu there. He's been the best player in every other back position.

Good away win for Ulst that with some key bodies missing

So now Northampton are in the Amlin, unless they concede any points in the last 3 mins.

If they score a try they move to 19pts and have a bit of a chance.

Firstly how is that not a red card, secondly how does that buffoon have a professional contract.

Mallinder has put together the worst disciplined team I have seen and is paying the price

Glasgow score a brilliant try and Northampton are deservedly out of both competitions. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

left the red button to concentrate on the Ulster match and when it ended it wasn't possible to get back to see the other match.

agree RM , captain sets the standard for team

Genuinely incredible how dumb one team can be. Mallinder should sack that replacement, then get the sack himself.

I would choose Toulon next up but do have a concern about their motivation if losing late on as look secure with a home tie.  MontP unfortunately have had to jiggle things round a bit which won't help.  Toulon have named a team suggesting they are here to do a serious job.

If they fannied around with selection I would happily expect a nice and convenient Montpellier win by 1 to 7pts, but that toulon line-up doesn't look like it's there to come second.

thanks RM

may not see much more rugby as 'non rugby ' visitors are due to arrive at 5pm for 24 hrs.

I've disconnected the phone ... so they face a trudge thro' the snow from the station. Devil
