Saint-Andre messing around with his half-backs. Think this helps England slightly myself.

Speaking of staying on the pitch at half time and oranges, does anyone else remember when this used to be the BIG Game of The Championship?

France to win, looking at the teamsheets they should probably cover the 8 pts hcap but the French have always had a complex with the English and they're not playing particularly well. France under 12.5 pts @ 2.46

I'm never very good at working these things out,but I dont see how France can go off a shorter price today against England than they were against Ireland last week(When England are Favs to beat Ireland next week)
If that makes any sense Confused
(France went off 1.5 just before kick last week)

Does seem a bit strange that an Eng team that is rated about 5/6 points worse than Ire currently is going to go off at about the same price this week.  Betting on potential rather than fact I guess plus the usual money pushing Eng a few ticks lower than perhaps they should be.
By:

When: 11 Mar 12 14:29
Yes, but before last week we hadn't seen France stutter to a draw against a team they were 1/3 ish to beat. That gets factored in.

France have been very unconvincing so far -they could only manage a draw against Ireland, should have lost to Scotland and managed a laboured win against Italy.

The selection of Dupuy/Beauxis suggests they are going to rely on a kicking game and the set piece. If they don't get supremacy up front then it is hard to see where their points are coming from.

Mind you I laid some Eng sub 3.0 sometime before last week.  Don't know what was factored into that.

When: 11 Mar 12 14:34
France's problem against England in recent years has been that they have made no progress at all up front and had no plan B. Maybe in Fofana they do have someone who can make a difference, but as stated they have selected half-backs that suggest that they want to bash away up front all day.

You have just reminded me with Le Boot at 10 it is time to dust off the first scoring play 17.0 just for Fra or 15.0 either on here better just in case Farrell gets a rush of blood.

Have backed England on the handicap myself.

With Farrell at 10 kicking the penalties think they'll keep it within a score even if they lose

On the outright prices I'd probably have a nibble on Eng too rather than Les Bleus
By:

Backed England outright @ 3.65 Think they should be shorter given its going to be a slugfest and Eng nearly have as much power as france.

Neither side playing a genuine seven. Not going to be much quick ball IMO

Probably come down to a penalty shoot out

What do ye reckon on total match point?

Over or under 39.5
By:
TheVis
When: 11 Mar 12 15:59
Eng under 12.5 looks easily the best way to play them today  - and have a bit of 25/1 13+ if you are at all nervous the unthinkable could happen
By:

When: 11 Mar 12 15:59
bit of the Samoan for 1st tryscorer & off course le DG was a nice price early doors, gone for England/france as well & then it's watch the game unfold, do fancy england to kepp within the cap +7.5
By:

When: 11 Mar 12 16:00
under would be my call given French discipline good eng defence and a French 10 who just loves to kick rather than setup his backs
