Very strange case TBH not as if they were short of Money , Appears to be no addiction involved Bar Shopping , Crackers covers it
|
|
By:
How was the money embezzled?
Was it straight transferred from an SNP account to one of his? Was in meant for the SNP but deposited into one his accounts? Were these just items bought from an SNP account but the goods ended up in his possession? |

Whatever the situation was and maybe we will never know but he’s one horrible vile individual who stole from his “alleged friends “ did he need a jaguar or caravan or other rubbish?
You could say he was a silly man but I’d say bad arrogant man. |

I'd say the lefties on here, they know who they are,
would have been a lot noisier had this thief not been a lefty. |

Everyone is disgusted with him. Money that should have went towards an independent Scotland was used for himself.

He would get 8-10 years in an English Civil Court as sentence is determined by amount obtained by fraud.
Scotland no doubt have their own guide lines but it will be a good stretch. Pleading guilty might have saved a few difficult questions in court/ lighter sentance. Nicola seems to have the cards falling for her in all of this. Does she know the dealer? |

Barstool you can’t get 8 to 10 years in a civil court.
He was served an indictment by Scottish PF that means the sentence can be highest, don’t talk rubbish that you know nothing about, we all agree he’s a scumbag. |
|
By:
I would think that his legal representation have said to him you’re fckd here, plead guilty and take the deal, no trial, and the scumbag has taken it.

Malay,
Sorry if I phrased that badly. In England we have Criminal Law and Civil law, cases of fraud are dealt with in the Civil courts to get your money back often in tandem with a trial in the Criminal Court for punishment of the same offence, although generally afterwards. I know because it has happened to me and I spent over £100k getting justice. Kindly appreciate it is not rubbish I am talking about. |

Have the SNP not held their own inquiry as to what was going on ?
Or would it not suit them if their Former Golden Girl was found to be Complicit ? I can still see her up on the Podium giving it the Big Un Meanwhile the Hubby was raiding the Party Funds , U cannot make it up |
|
By:
Found to be complicit!
. |
|
By:
No chance Honest John will want and enquiry.
He was the one who appointed Murrow to CEO and is also on record denying any money was missing or there were any issues with party finances when the allegations first began to appear. There’s other money missing. The allegations all came about because of claims that 600k donated solely for the purpose of gaining independence that was meant to be ring fenced separately from SNP funds appeared to have disappeared. Clearly magpie Pete hadn’t stolen all that money so they won’t want to have to answer questions about where the rest is. |
|
By:
Imagine handing over £1,000 expecting it to be used to campaign for Scottish independence and it is spent on a hairdryer for a bald bloke.

Nicola Sturgeon insists she never saw 24ft motorhome in mother-in-law’s driveway despite it being there for two years

was pete on bullseye ?

Nicola now says she "didn't know him ( Murrell) at all". I suppose if they were each other's beards that's plausible.
|
|
By:
Reading the nonsense she has now come out with it's almost as if she has forgotten she was also his boss, leader of the party he stole from, treasurer of the party when the previous one quit and never continually told members not to question the finances as they were fine.

saw somewhere he alledgedly borrowed the snp 107k of their own money ffs .

Nicola Sturgeon has said she was "deceived, betrayed and lied to" by her estranged husband Peter Murrell as he embezzled hundreds of thousands of pounds from the SNP.
The former first minister told an audience at her first public appearance since Murrell pleaded guilty that she was coming to terms with being married to someone she "did not know at all". "I have been misled, I have been lied to and I have been betrayed, and I won't be the last woman who has been betrayed by her husband. She added that she would "probably need to sit with a therapist", saying that "this is a long-winded way of saying I am not OK". |

I won't be the last woman who has been betrayed by her husband
"probably need to sit with a therapist", "this is a long-winded way of saying I am not OK" Obviously guilty, but going to get clean away with it because Murrell won't give evidence against her. Instead of being thankful for that result she throws him under the motorhome and makes out she is the biggest victim of the case. |

Yes. Pathetic.

Why are people surprised these are the kind of people that go into politics scary aint it

It just sums up what a narcissistic little shrew she is.
It just sums up what a narcissistic little shrew she is. Even if you take everything she says at face value why would you be doing a tour about your autobiography and trying to flog your book in the same week your husband had a court appearance in the high court. Maybe that was the plan all along and she is that detached from reality that she thought she would be getting more sympathy and be able to gurn about being the victim and it would be good PR for her. Now she’s just a figure of fun to be laughed at. |
