Bloviator joins the party with a correct answer Grin

I never knew my old mate was playing drums for JT until a concert recording on itv when she introduced the band and i thought blimey the boy done good after all.
A bit later, after playing with a number of other artists,in 2000 he joined Status Quo and was their drummer for 13 years, world tours, albums etc and then a cameo on Corrie Laugh

A somewhat better way to earn a living than my chosen career in insurance Grin

Don't think i would have got that one Aspro Grin

No 50 is difficult it seems - one hit wonders, top five hit in mid 90s, from the other side of the world. Was played a heck of a lot at the time.

I only read this recently and never before realised that Helen Wheels is the journey of PM making his way down from Scotland to London in his Land Rover, which he nicknamed Hell on Wheels. It includes several of the cities he passed along the way. I bought the single when it was released in 1973/74, where it reached #12 in the UK charts.

Never getting #50 DD. Words like those are easily recognised if you know the song well, which I clearly don't.

The title of number 50 pretty much sums up the political landscape at the moment :

How Bizarre by OMC (New Zealand band)

I guarantee you will have heard it before Aspro , it was played everywhere back in 95 Grin

Just logged on, busy building my ship (model). Just broke a bit, p**sed off so decided to take a break.

Yeah I know How Bizarre. Became a much used word(s) after its release.

Like yhtl, never took a lot of notice of the lyrics, which can probably be said of most 90's+ songs... but not all Wink

Yes a very difficult opening line to remember YHTL but the song is very recognisable, still played today.

Happy days indeed in 95 - it was the last time EFC won a trophy Grin
