. Perfect summing up. Agree with every word. So how can she have paid nothing in Capital Gains Tax ? |

It looks like jollyswigger has come on simply to attack Cider.
He's gets very angry at people who don’t agree with him does jollyswigger. |

She should have held her hands up by now and admitted she made a mistake but she's not very bright.
The amusing thing about this thread, Dr, is all the lefties desperately posting whataboutery as if that will make any difference. |

jolly (oh the irony) is the only forumite I have blocked. The guy is simply unhinged.

Mr Corbyn has got away with doing nothing, and saying nothing except playing to his audience. Hie reward is a colossal pension pot of over £1m, plus at least a similar amount in salaries as a career politician; the freebies eg free food, free drinks, free accommodation and free taxis at functions equate to another significant amount definitively more than that of what an average socialist Labour supporter could earn in his/own lifetime.
This is akin to someone playing the social system eg living off the state, but with luxury. |

I've got several blocked. I blocked edy yesterday for blatant trolling, which I announced on a thread with the evidence there for all to see. The thread was taken down shortly after. Which I'm sure was merely a coincidence. |

I am sure your audience would love a full recapture, Crippen.

Oh blimey, I happen to still have the thread opened in a tab. Would you love a documentation, Crippen?

I understand AR has offered 15 years of tax info.... if Rishi will do the same!
Wonder why the Tories have not taken up this offer? |
|
By:
Why should Rishi do that, he isn't under investigation by the police.

Is Rayner?

Better this rumbles on into the election - drag Sir Keir into the mess as well.
She's had a couple of months to knock this on the head. The cover up is now the issue. The MOS won't just go away - they'll keep poking the wasps' nest. |

By:
I suspect Starmer may be pleased, she hasn't been on the media for weeks.

By:
Labour seem pretty silly accusing the Tories of stuff like this when their main attack dog is guilty of it herself.
She called the Tories scum for their dealings. So if the cap fits…... |
|
By:
Labour can do whatever they want until the next GE and it wont change the fact that the Tories get wiped out. If they get 100 seats I'd be surprised.

This is still my favourite moment of Crippen seeing through it regarding Russia and Putin all by himself with lots of super independent thought.
Dr Crippen • March 8, 2018 8:50 PM GMT Does any of it matter? They weren't British citizens were they? Might be that the EU poisoned them in an effort to stir it up, or some other power. They've all got it in for Putin after he kicked the Rothschilds out of Russia. That's what all the mud slinging against Putin is about. big lol. https://community.betfair.com/politics/go/thread/view/94150/30994201/the-russians-are-at-it-again edy • December 8, 2023 9:19 PM GMT https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/apr/20/facebook-posts/putin-did-not-nationalize-russian-central-bank-and/ Russia’s ongoing attack on Ukraine has given new life to a false claim first shared on social media in 2018. The Facebook post from March 14, 2018, shows a portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin seated in a chair, along with a caption that reads, "Just in case you’re wondering why they hate him." Text in the image credits Putin with a few things, including that he "ended the Rothschild's control over Russia by nationalizing the Russian centralized bank." |

"Labour to clamp down on tax dodgers " bellows Rachel Reeves.
Maybe they start with their own deputy leader ? All hypocrites - the rules apply to everybody else, but not their elite apparently. |

By:
Less than a year ago, the then chancellor Zahawi paid £3.7million tax owed from evasion, plus 30% penalty of £1.1milliom plus interest bringing the total to over £5million.
Rayner possibly owes £1,500, up to £3,000 max (There is still no proof that she owes anything) Look at the boats |
|
By:
It's still legal to call the tories scum.
|
|
By:
This isn't about 3k in tax. It's about her point blank refusal to be accountable - whilst demanding many others are.
She apparently has the proof that she owes nothing but refuses to reveal it ? Why is this - its an incredulous position ? Her position is untenable. |
|
By:
Cameron refused to release his tax returns or explain how he circumvented money laundering laws when he got caught with £120 MILLION in panama.
Look at the boats |

By:
Tax experts have been all over the numbers.
https://taxpolicy.org.uk/2024/02/29/rayner/ . There are only three ways she can "prove" she owes no tax. 1/ AR and her husband nominated AR's house as their principal private residence , in writing to HMRC within two years of their marriage, ie by 2012. (Extremely unlikely but not impossible - but obviously she hasn't done this or she would have told us - the whole tax issue disappears) 2/ She spent somewhere between 15K and 23K on property improvements on the ex council house - this doesn't include repairs and running costs but expenditure on extensions / conservatories etc. There is zero evidence of any of this. (If she has then why not tell us ? ) 3/ The ex council house was the family home based on the facts from 2010 - ie the family spent the majority of their time living there following her marriage - not just her but the family. Her spending the odd night there would not make it the family home for tax purposes. It's clear the family lived in their other house. (Ok she might have capital losses from earlier years rolling forward to absorb the gain on the house but again - why not tell us ? It's also strange that she has now offered up to HMRC the legal explanations if they want to see them . Why would she say this now ? HMRC should have been given this information when she submitted her 2015 tax return , not 9 years later. It appears she didn't declare the gain properly back then - she assumed it was exempt under the private residence exemptions - Well Angela it wasn't !!) So come on then Angela which exemption are you claiming ? - How can you possibly owe nothing as your 'legal advice' indicates ? Not sure what the boats , David Cameron , Rishi or indeed anybody else have to do with AR's failed tax planning. |
|
By:
Oh and once you have cleared up the capital gains tax issues , then we can move onto Electoral Register misstatements and possible underpayments of Council Tax.
What a mess for the Shadow Deputy PM in an election year. |
|
By:
why are you only campaigning about Rayner?
If your outrage is against MP tax fraudsters your outrage would be against all the tax fraudsters in Parliament Is you outrage only against Rayner because she didn't go to eaton? |

By:
Because the evidence available to me in AR's case is clear and overwhelming, and I don't like hypocrisy.
Also I'm not going to get stuck into someone when all I have to go on is gossip, hearsay and innuendo. |

A supposedly grassroots ‘tax protest’ against Labour party Deputy Leader Angela Rayner, which hit the headlines on Wednesday, was organised and conducted by Conservative party politicians, one of the organisers has admitted to Byline Times.
The Daily Express published video from the protest in Yarm, North Yorkshire, showing what were described as “activists” donning caps, glasses and yellow vests with the slogan “tax inspector”. The report refers to what are described as “local sources” suggesting that Rayner was “forced to sneak out the back door of the Tomahawk bar to avoid being photographed with the protestors on the way out.” “Walking down Yarm highstreet, Ms Rayner was seen hiding under an umbrella as activists wearing ‘Tax inspector’ high-vis vests unveiled a giant banner reading: “Angela Rayner: Tax dodger?” the paper reported. The Express did not reveal who the protesters, three of whom could be seen wearing caps, glasses and a hood were, or which campaign they representedt. However, Byline Times has identified one of the protesters as local Conservative Councillor for Yarm, John Coulson. Tory stunts [sic] |

The Growler says she will step down if she has committed a criminal offence.
Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner says she will step down if she is found to have broken the law. In a statement, she said she was "completely confident I've followed the rules at all times". She has been accused of giving false information about her main residence in a row about who lived in her former council house. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are investigating whether any crimes have been committed. |

I'm not sure how you can come to the conclusion that it is honorable that a person who has been found to have committed a crime of dishonesty is honorable but I suppose it seems to be a reocurring theme for certain people on this thread to benchmark their view of honour based on people they think are dishonorable, dishonest ****s.
