The wiki graph is from here https://www.climate-lab-book.ac.uk/2020/2019-years/ Is past 2000 years & stops before the 2023 record. I guess is similar to the one you posted? Obviously has f*** all to do with Royal Mail as some loons seem to think. Obviously yet another massive global conspiracy. |

It is only the unemployed scroungers who can’t afford a holiday. Millions of others are enjoying life , going skiing, maybe some winter sun in the Canaries? Or Florida? planning trips to Olympics, maybe a trip to North America this summer? or why not enjoy a decent holiday in U.K. FFS How gullible are the lazy scroungers, think the whole world is preventing them going on holiday? |
|
By:
Are you a lazy scrounger mex? how will i know when you are titled as the biggest liar on this forum? not my words by the way, others on here claim it.

If I’m a lazy scrounger then I wouldn’t be able to afford going away on a few holidays this year. Exactly as it should be. The taxpayers shouldn’t be forking out money for lazy scroungers to jet off on holiday. Meanwhile millions of people will be planning holidays for this year. |

They promised Armageddon and we got a breeze scarcely strong enough to trouble the wheelie bins. It was blowing a bit in the North Western outposts but that's pretty normal and to be expected during wintertime.
|
|
By:
Can’t remember the report of Armageddon. Is that something you just made up? Most of the warnings were only amber warnings. Perhaps you confused that with Armageddon?
Meanwhile….. Two people have died after their cars hit trees brought down across the UK by Storm Isha: a man in County Londonderry and another in Grangemouth The strong winds and heavy rain have also caused travel disruption and left homes without electricity Thousands of people are still without power on Monday in Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England, with conditions making it unsafe for some crews to work on power lines Parts of the UK have seen their strongest winds in 10 to 20 years; gusts of up to 99mph (159km/h) were recorded in Northumberland The Sellafield nuclear site earlier suspended operations. The government said in a staff update there were no safety issues Train services in Scotland remained suspended during the morning after what Network Rail called "a wild night", but a good service is expected in most of England and Wales A new storm - Storm Jocelyn - is expected to hit parts of the UK and Ireland from tomorrow, with more warnings for rain and strong winds https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-68036507 |
|
By:
Weather warnings on every news bulletin, stay at home etc. Reporters camped out on North westerly seafronts to capture a few waves breaking over the railings, has that never happened before? Michael Fish was reprimanded for understating a storm last century so now they go over the top.

I see Foinavon
So it is your understanding of Armageddon which is the problem. Don’t worry Foinavon, Met office have another yellow warning for tomorrow. Heavy rain associated with Storm Jocelyn may cause some flooding and disruption to travel What to Expect Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice/uk-warnings#?date=2024-01-23 So you better head to your nuclear shelter if you are petrified of a yellow warning. Meanwhile those who can understand the warnings will get on with their lives. |
|
By:
Me petrified? Don't be silly, I'm just hacked off by all the over-the-top reporting we get these days. My snowflake neighbour was worried about her shed being blown to pieces overnight, it was still there when I looked this morning.

Over the top…. You mean like the Met giving a yellow warning and some loon wittering on about Armageddon. Totally understand your pain, that over the top nonsense should stop. |

Back in the day we had Gales at the end of Jan that wrecked havoc with dodgy fences, you could set your watch by them
Nowt odd about it then. |

the winds we are being told now are storms were just called double peggers by my old granny,a grand drying day she would say
|
|
By:
why is climate change opinions, whether industrial pollution has caused this, been made into a right wing, left wing argument ? Surely you can have a reasonable opinion on certain issues without going into right wing or left wing intransigent positions.
This forum seems to have so many people want to join a right wing club on everything and basically show themselves up to be not too clever. |

Perhaps in USA it is more of a party issue, in U.K. / Europe there isn’t the same divide. Almost all MPs regardless of Party are behind the science, they understand planet is getting warmer. There is a divide along educational levels & general flat Earth conspiracy loons. Hence you have the school failures and intellectually challenged, getting their “information “ from loon-tube then shouting their mouths off without first engaging their brains while the grown ups get on with their lives. |

going back to barton,s rubbish about females who never played at mens top level, i trained greyhounds at a moderate level, but i lumped on college causeway ante post for irish greyhound derby, was my opinion justified ? yes.
Would barton if offered a job talking about mens world cup take it? I'm sure he would take it and quite rightly so, cash is king, is he qualified to analyse it ? according to him he isnt cos he never played at that level of tournament. |

Here come the back bedroom loony loony lefties...
Is it global warming, climate change, or hole in the ozone layer and we are all going to fry, scaremongering this week? |
|
By:
You weirdo believers please sit in your back bedrooms and fret and worry yourselves silly about it each day.
Just please leave those of us who have brain cells, to crack on with our daily lives. That's all we ask. |
|
By:
Very brave of you to show reappear on this thread after spouting nonsense regarding acid raid just disappearing by magic.
Still not one shred of evidence from you to explain your belief that the planet isn’t warming. Yep those thousands of scientists don’t have brain cells but our intellectual heavyweight Benny knows the truth about another massive global conspiracy. Careful you don’t fall off the planet Ben. |
|
By:
I am with you on the weather Foinavon
I am also a disciple of Charles Darwin. A Gale used to be a big thing so much so that we did not have storms. Does anyone know what the classifications for Isha and Jocelyn are? |
|
By:
Lol nupties want evidence to show the planet isn't warming now. What a bunch of chumps. No unadjusted statistical data shows warming let alone as a result of industrial activity.
|
|
By:
Yep honcho
Why bother with evidence. You got your qualifications from the University of life rather than those stupid scientists spending hours and hours working. It is obvious there isn’t any need for evidence just shout. |
