More nonsense from wd , and not anywhere close to the truth
Over more than 300 years the union of England and Scotland has been the greatest most successful of any two countries in the history of the world
It’s due to the extraordinary capabilities of English and Scottish people in every aspect of life , creative and scientific an in industry
science , arts , music , engineering , medicine , literature ,  inventiveness etc
Now I can assure you that is something like a miracle

Collaborators!

They always take the silver. If their country is so great why are so many of them here? Economic migrants should be sent to Rwanda

Everyone in Britain should have to swear allegiance to the Union Jack

That would eliminate the Tories then.

Their allegiance is to sleaze, corruption and filling their own stinking pockets at the people’s expense.

Even Matt Handcock’s barman got our dosh.

if I went around Spain pulling down the Spanish flag
i would be banged up abroad within hours

If i pulled down the European Flags I might get away with it for a day

Whatever happened to your country ?

you wouldn't get jailed for taking a flag down off a lamp post, you have not committed a crime.
If you took it off a government building they might fine you a bullseye for being an idiot and take the flag back and put it back up, but that would be total woke and waste of taxpayers money going to court.
If I took a tricolour and Palestine flag down were I live I'd have more to worry about than a fifty quid fine.

Removing a flag from a lamp post can be a crime, depending on local laws, as it can be considered theft if the flag belongs to someone else or criminal damage to the lamp post or the flag itself. Under laws like the Highways Act 1980, attaching items to public highway infrastructure without consent is prohibited, and therefore, the flag itself or the act of attaching it without permission could be considered illegal.

Of course the people who put these flags up had no permission to do so, their’s was the criminal act not mine. We don’t want this North of Ireland shiite with no go areas marked by flags.

I disagree the lamp post doesn't belong to you so once you have attached it is the equivalent of flinging it on road, does highways act 1980 apply in Spain ?

The Union Jack is a fine advert for diversity

We have had French Kings who spoke French and replaced all the Saxon Lords with Frenchmen, Jock kings although we had to cut the head off one of them, Dutch Kings and German Kings who spoke German in Buckingham Palace.

I think the Union Jack is a fine example of how we can all come together under one flag regardless of where we all came fromWink

Regarding Europe flag I've only ever noticed one in real life and it's at Buncrana golf course, it's a Ryder cup thing I assume. I'm not into Golf but I never really got the patriotic Europe V USA thing. Loads of people love it fair play to them.

But that’s all a nonsense if the people either not born here or who were 2nd or 3rd generation British born happen to recoil from its very image.

It’s an excuse, hidden behind what some argue to be symbolism aligned with right wing tendencies.
These people are happy flying other country’s flags they choose to associate with.
They give themselves away constantly, look at these ‘pride’ marches, or ‘free Palestine’ marches (where there’s never been a state called Palestine that was ever ‘free’) or even cricket matches.

There’s no intention of recognising the national flag.

North west white europeans are a people shocker.

And a relative trickle of movement within that group over millenia is entirely commensurate with millions of third worlders rocking up in a matter of decades.

German, Danes, Angles and Saxons not forgetting the French who took the country by force

Who are the real Britons?

Great point wd — clearly the centuries-long process that nativises and ethnicises a people on the land is pure fantasy.

The over-used reference of this island being made up of immigrants has run aground
Yeah, immigrants of general likeminded civilisations.

Even the wilfully ignorant can’t help notice the tide went well out last election
And is now about to crash back like a tsunami next opportunity
