All the clever kids at Eton go to the city, all the less capable become mps, basically their political wing.

But if you hammer home, low tax ,creates jobs, and trickle down is great.the less clever actually believe it,then the stock market crashes, cos the clever ones know it’s total ****.

There's only one reason for this crash - Trump has pulled out his big gun pointed it at the rest of the world , then shot himself in the foot.

Interesting stat from Larry Fink, 8% of workers are in manufacturing. As Elon once said, let that sink in.

Very interesting talk from Larry Fink all around. Some of you would do well to let go of your pearls briefly, and take a listen.

8% of land in Britain has concrete on it.

There’s more land used for golf courses than houses.

But we are over crowded, and can’t build on green belt.

An estimated 21.0 million adults in the United States had at least one major depressive episode. This number represented 8% of all U.S. adults.

Who would work in manufacture.

who is claiming it's a 'staggering revelation'

The number is lower than I would have guessed.

Everyone knew that US equities were overvalued, didn't they ?

Everyone knew that Trump would be increasing tariffs on US imports, didn't they ?

Good old Donald  making America great , by ripping into the 401K's of the American people - tremendous work.

Have they started to jump from 20th floor windows yet like they did in the 1930s and after other big crashes? It is laughable that our Government wants to limit betting to £100 per week while some people have lost £millions on the stock markets and nobody points out the hypocricy of it all. "Investors are different-they know the risks" The poor innocent punter has no idea that the horse might get beat or that the roulette wheel is ****. And of course the regular lottery donors are just being public spirited. The market will reach a bottom as it always does but where? I can see it getting down to 6500 on the FTSE and equivalent losses on the US exchanges. Meanwhile how much capital gains tax has the Government lost from its forecasts? What a mess due to just one man aged 78! And I would be willing to bet that his family will buy the dip.

They didn't in the lockdown crash a few years ago. In fact, due to lockdown nobody now works on the 20th floor!

The ftse 100 went below 5000 just a few years ago.

Take advantage as you see fit, in my opinion.

If the sentiment was tariffs are good for America, but bad for the rest of the world, then the values of American based companies would jump and those based overseas would fall.

But that is not what's happening , it's just one almighty **** up negatively affecting everybody, and totally unnecessary.

Sure , bring in tariffs if you want , but do it in a way that doesn't damage your own working people. That's madness, not a good policy.

Markets are manipulated all the time ... but I've never seen it so blatantly bent the past couple months as in all my 33 trading years

I was actually on the right side of that flip - long sp500 - but I'm considering pulling away away for a while now and usually volatility is great for trading but not like that - market is dubious enough as it stands without that nonsense

Was obvious soaking last night and this morning - price action told you that and it was in my mind we'd get a dodgy upside move this afternoon/evening - happened other day when rumours of a pause....
