do you understand the fear and loathing of russias near neighbours? i know many estonians latvians and lithuanians in london who hate russia. it has brutally attacked them via high-velocity cyber-warfare. long after independence. why does russia do this? they are no threat to anybody. i say russia, but you know who it is. and if even the saintly swedes have introduced limited conscription in response to russian naughtiness in the baltic what conclusion should we draw? the fact you will not acknowledge is that russia is under the control of a maniac and tyrant who does not differentiate between the ussr and russia. and theres a big difference. another difference is that i know what it is and you do not |

joining nato is not an aggressive act for a tiny state that was subjugated by the ussr for 70years
i will say it again. nato is a defensive alliance. as russia had persecuted every one of them for 70 years, it should just fro actually. joining a defensive alliance is not an act of aggression. nato does not build any bases. it doesnt have to. russia does, because it is entirely coercive ukraine never got near nato but put out feelers to the evil that is the e.u. and rasputin blew his lid. so ukraine even talks about nato and russia invades, and thats ok with you? unlike russia(which is governed by the autocrat) other states have the privilege of self-determination. mildly ironic that rasputin will frighten neutral states like sweden and finland to join nato. it would be better for russia if someone took on the mantle of stauffenburg and bumped him off russia is a tragedy. it should be a giant switzerland. fabulously wealthy. but the bastards have it all |

nato never announced anything. and any state that wants to join is exercising self-determination. why should it not? why are you so scared of an alliance that says no member can declare war? sounds ok to me.
thats why it was set up in the first place. who would be scared of that, unless you had plans to do otherwise? |
