Dunno what the big deal about being wrong is all about. I'm wrong hundreds of times a day. Many days I'm more wrong than I'm right and still come out well ahead.

I'm wrong most of the time Laugh, I don't feel shame about it its just part of the game

We have an opinion put our money on it and win or lose, nothing bad or shameful with being wrong, some are just better at this game than others that's all

What is your problem???

There you go Clydebank. Tims total stake on this democratic nominee market is £10,082.85. On the winner Joe Biden, he has £2,543.85 at at average price of 2.97. Tim claims he has won on this market.

I'm not to sure why you feel the need to post your bets even if you have been asked? The chances are that people are just trying to troll you by getting you to post your bets. At the end of the day, you know what you have punted on and whether you are winning or losing, to hell with everybody else and what they think.

In my time conversing with timb on specials, he doesn't aftertime and holds his hand up when he gets it wrong.

Thanks, CB.

pp pretends he has me blocked, and has been repeating his lies for months claiming he hasn`t seen where I pointed out that his list only included my backs, with no mention of my lays in that market. On FOUR previous occasions, I`ve offered him, (or anyone else), photographic evidence that I won, but he`s failed to ask to see it, preferring to maintain his lying.

Anyone doubting CB can go to the `Specials` forum where they`ll see hundreds of examples of my openly declared losses over the years, (many max red!), and zero examples of aftertiming, as I`ve found that when you are a real-life long term winner, you don`t need to lie, you can produce the evidence.

It sounds like you`re wriggling. And this wriggling time has given me a good idea; you`re so keen to see, others are so keen to lie, why don`t you ask them to join you in your campaign? All for one, and all that? You`re all in it together, you all get the better of me together, or you`re all forever publicly humiliated together! In return for which, as an added bonus, I`ll throw in an offer you/they won`t be able to refuse; if I can`t provide PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE, I will NEVER post on `Politics` again. Wow, can`t say fairer than that, you`ll all be rid of me, forever! I`m liking this idea, putting a stop to all the lies, from all the liars, in one go, putting a stop to it from all of you, forever. I`ll give you until tomorrow night to get your comrades to sign up to this fantastic offer, you can seal your fate together! Actually, I`m LOVING this idea!

He’s had an awfully long time to fake it by now. Have to say after the big reveal that tim was just unable to understand a fairly simple request to post his bets and not actively trying to lie about the market, I felt this was a more likely explanation, because it was going to be difficult to keep the story straight if it wasn’t true and you’d have to be a an absolutely crazy fantasist to keep picking fights over having won in a market where you’d actually produced evidence that you lost. I’m now back to thinking it’s about an even money shot as if he really had the PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE, it’s very odd that he produced a weird and not even specified condition to produce it, when he’d said all along he would do so the moment he was asked.

Who cares if somebody is a crazy fantasist on an anonymous forum? Why are people asking people to post their bets? What does it prove? Do people get a warm fuzzy feeling or something? It is all very insecure.

It’s just an amusing way to pass the time, really. It’s a bit like Trump himself getting a lot of attention for being so crazy. Tim is a far smaller print version but given how extremely keen he is to pick fights, it’s hardly surprising he finds himself in them. Perhaps it’s like Trump there too and he just enjoys trolling but I get the sense that he’s taking it more seriously than his hero does.

I don’t disagree but you have to recognise the comedy value in posting your bets to prove that you won and them adding up to a loss.

It’s perfectly possible to do both. Tim has lots to say about US politics too, although again often with a very hazy grip of what’s reality and what’s fantasy.

But posting bets on the forum has always been very uncouth, and in the past would be heavily discouraged. I suppose me being an old-timer on here and rejecting the urge to 'share' everything like a silly Millennial doesn't help me enjoy such anti-social mores.

Please send me the PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE tim.

You`re now asking to see the evidence?  edy recently asked about this, but I wanted you, pp, to be involved, as you started it all, you`re the one that`s got your comrades in trouble over this, and you`ve been the prime miscreant, so I`m delighted to see your request! edy ran away to get reinforcements and, having failed to find any, has since pretended the whole thing never happened! So, do you agree to my terms? If I produce, you post suitably grovelling apologies and verification of your contribution to `Four More Years!`, then leave forever; if I fail to produce, I post suitably grovelling apologies, verification of my contribution to the `I love joe` campaign, then leave forever?

edy; you still in? Or did your running away signify full and total acceptance?

fs; you haven`t been as vociferous about this, but seems you now want in as well?

winning; a few months ago, pp was pretending he knew about politics, pretending he was a punter, and aftertiming his way around, left right and centre, while posting things like `Whitmer is value` but, when asked if he`d backed her, he`d get abusive, as his plan is to post numerous of these snippets then, at a later date, dig up the ones that were correct, in an attempt at making himself look good. I pointed this out, reminding the forum that, in four years of these POTUS markets, he`d actually only had FOUR backs, each of which had gone South. He took offence, demanding to see who I`d backed and, eventually, I posted my backs, which pp then talked himself into believing proved I`d lost, but he`d forgotten that he`d never asked for my lays! Cue three months of lies, despite my repeated rebuttals and offers of PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE! So, sorry for clogging up the forum, hopefully now that we have pp, edy and fs about to leave this forum forever, this will be the end of it.

It is obvious from his posts that pp isn't pretending he knows about politics, whether I agree with a particular post of his or not. With regard to him winning or losing, it makes absolutely zero difference to me, likewise for your fortunes.

Just to clarify, it doesn't matter to me who wins, as long as I do.

Yes, PP's punting strategy seems to be heavily slanted towards polls, but I'm sure its not his only angle, nor does it not mean that doesn't know about politics-- he clearly does. Due to the hyper-partisan nature of US politics it is best to simply accept that there are those who will definitely have an opinion that is orthogonal to your.

I’m a bit offended edy, as I’m sure is Foinavon. But yeah, the getting an unspecified group of people to sign up was a very odd condition. The desire to get contributions to Trump’s re-election has come and gone and now come back again too.

Tim, I’m not really sure what your offer is here, because it keeps changing. I’m for sure not sloshing any cash in any direction for you to prove something, least of all a Trump campaign. As you’ll recall, I ended up believing you but I’m now back on the fence, because you’ve been wrigglier than an eel with edy.
