Six month anniversary of this piece of wisdom.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!

Weeks before the first confirmed U.S. case of the coronavirus, President Donald Trump admitted to legendary investigative journalist Bob Woodward that he knew the virus was airborne, highly contagious, and “more deadly than even your strenuous flus.”

And weeks later, as he declared a national emergency over the outbreak, Trump confessed to Woodward that he “wanted to always play it down,” and “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”

Those comments—which stand in contrast to Trump’s repeated insistence that the virus will merely “disappear”—are among many revealed in Woodward’s upcoming book Rage, due out September 15. CNN obtained the audio recordings of Trump making the remarks in on-record chats with the journalist.

This is a developing story...

Trump's aides despise him just like everyone else.

The White House is once gain under siege from a tell-all book that depicts Trump as a madman.

And this tome is reportedly backed up by hundreds of hours of tape-recorded interviews with Trump aides, conducted by Bob Woodward, one of the most famous Washington, D.C., journalists of his generation.

Woodward’s "Fear: Trump in the White House" presents a devastating portrait of a paranoid and isolated president who remains utterly clueless about the responsibilities of his office

For now, the Woodward book is driving Trump to distraction. Between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, he posted nine straight tweets about the new book, which hits stores on September 11.

"Isn’t it a shame that someone can write an article or book, totally make up stories and form a picture of a person that is literally the exact opposite of the fact, and get away with it without retribution or cost," Trump whined. "Don’t know why Washington politicians don’t change libel laws?"

Unfortunately for Trump, stopping the book may prove to be nearly impossible.

"President Trump is livid at the betrayal and stunning allegations in Bob Woodward’s forthcoming "Fear," but limited in his ability to fight back because most of the interviews were caught on hundreds of hours of tape," Axios reports.

The book provides a stunning insider view of a completely dysfunctional White House where top aides such as Kelly, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, and former top economic adviser Gary Cohn often circumvented the president's will in order to avoid national calamities.

"The operations of the Oval Office and White House were less the Art of the Deal and more often the Unraveling of the Deal," Woodward writes. "The unraveling was often right before your eyes, a Trump rally on continuous loop. There was no way not to look."

Aides alternately describe Trump as "unhinged" “moron,” an "idiot," and a "****g "liar" with the intellectual capacity of a "fifth or sixth grader."

And these are the people who work for him.

"I don't even know why any of us are here," chief of staff John Kelly reportedly vented to staffers. "This is the worst job I've ever had."

Once again with the headline-making Woodward book, Trump is viewed with utter contempt by many who work with him on a daily basis.

No wonder he's fuming.

A Department of Homeland Security whistleblower has laid out what his attorney describes as "serious allegations of misconduct" by DHS leadership, The Washington Post reports.

Brian Murphy, a senior official who formerly was in charge of intelligence and analysis at DHS, alleges in a new whistleblower complaint obtained by the Post that in May 2020, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf told him to "cease providing intelligence assessments on the threat of Russian interference in the United States," and that in July, Wolf told him that an "intelligence notification" on Russian disinformation efforts "should be 'held' because it 'made the president look bad.'"

Murphy "objected" to this instruction, saying that it's "improper to hold a vetted intelligence product for reasons for political embarrassment," according to the complaint. The complaint also says that when he was told to stop providing intelligence assessments on Russian interference, Murphy said he wouldn't comply because doing so would "put the country in substantial and specific danger."

Additionally, Murphy alleges that Wolf and Acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Ken Cuccinelli instructed officials to change intelligence assessments to align with Trump's rhetoric, CNN reports. The complaint alleges that Cuccinelli told him to edit an assessment's "section on white supremacy" to make "the threat appear less severe" and to "include information on the prominence of violent 'left-wing' groups." Murphy says he didn't make the modifications.

The U.S. Treasury on Thursday added Ukrainian lawmaker Andrii Derkach to its "Specially Designated Nationals" list for alleged efforts to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, including by promoting "false and unsubstantiated" allegations targeting Joe Biden.

The big picture: Derkach has been "an active Russian agent for over a decade," maintaining close ties to "Russian intelligence services," according to a statement by the Treasury. The designation will freeze Derkach's assets in the U.S.

President Donald Trump on Thursday said he spent the previous night watching back-to-back Fox programming, even as the country continued to battle simultaneous health, environmental and economic crises.

“These people got caught in the probably the biggest political scandal in the history of our country. They got caught,” he said.

Trump then seemed to imply he was receiving some of his intelligence about that probe from Fox News and Fox Business shows:

“What the Durham report is going to say, I can’t tell you. But if they say half as much as I already know just from seeing it. You know, you have people, I watch some of the shows, I watched Liz McDonnell she’s fantastic, I watched Fox Business, I watched Lou Dobbs last night, Sean Hannity last night, Tucker (Carlson) last night, Laura (Ingraham). I watched ‘Fox & Friends’ in the morning. You watch these shows, you don’t have to go too far into the details. They cover things that are, it’s really an amazing thing.”

Trump’s television binge came amid a firestorm of criticism over bombshell revelations from journalist Bob Woodward’s book, Rage, which features 18 taped interviews with the president. In one interview, Trump admitted to intentionally downplaying the severity of the coronavirus while knowing it was deadly and airborne as early as February.

Trump’s allies on Fox News and Fox Business largely excused and defended his behavior or chose not to mention it at all. His Democratic presidential opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, voiced his outrage over Trump’s hours-long TV-watching binge while people were dying from COVID-19

That stickyvicky didn't make his way to this thread/forum is still the biggest mystery of our times to me. Was he relieved chit chat closed and he could finally stop pretending to be a Trump supporter? Is he still camping out in the chit chat Trump thread, wondering why it's so quiet? If The Hulk fought Spiderman, who would win?

The Don KNEW!

https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-09-04-war-on-hydroxychloroquine-traced-to-gilead-remdesivir.html#

The war on Hydroxychloroquine can be traced back to Gilead, the drug maker looking to profit big from Remdesivir

It was beyond strange when the major media networks began to attack a pharmaceutical, especially in the middle of a pandemic. When did the major media networks ever criticize a drug? It turns out that controversial pharmaceutical is a cheap medicine that helps human cells uptake zinc so their immune system can recover from coronavirus infections.

Dr. Didier Raoult of France was using something as simple and cheap as hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in combination with zinc and an antibiotic to successfully treat coronavirus patients. The news of Raoult’s success spread like wildfire, and U.S. President Donald Trump ultimately promoted the treatment, which acts as both a prophylactic and a therapeutic.

But it doesn’t matter how many doctors successfully treat coronavirus patients using HCQ and zinc. It doesn’t matter what people do in the home to help their immune system through the infection. What matters is drug company profits.
Tens of billions of dollars are on the line as Gilead tries to force dangerous Remdesivir down patient’s throats

There are tens of billions of dollars on the line if doctors are able to use something as cheap as HCQ and zinc to cure patients. Gilead, the maker of Remdesivir, wants to make sure that doctors use their 5-day coronavirus treatment which costs $3,000 per patient. In comparison, a generic dose of HCQ costs anywhere between $10 and $20.

Studies on Gilead’s remdesivir are abysmal, showing adverse events for 102 (66%) of 155 remdesivir recipients. The adverse events were so horrific for remdesivir patients, that 18 (12%) of the patients had to be taken off the drug. As their drug failed, Gilead went to war with a simple treatment protocol that was working.
Gilead’s desperate war against HCQ

The first hit job on HCQ came from the Veterans’ Administration hospital system study. One author of the study received numerous grants from Gilead, and in one instance, he collected nearly a quarter of a million dollars from the drug company. The flaws in the study were swiftly exposed, as Gilead tried to influence the results of the study.

The next hit job on HCQ came from Surgisphere, which published a 15,000-patient mega study that allegedly compiled data from hospitals across the world. The data, aimed at discrediting HCQ, was published in the prestigious Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine. Upon further review, the data was found to be fraudulent and the study was retracted from the journals, but it was too late: The study was used to restrict outpatient use of HCQ in the U.S. Australia, and most of Europe.

The editors of the Lancet declared Surgisphere’s scheme a “monumental fraud” but by then it was too late. These same Lancet editors had already gone out of their way to pressure the World Health Organization to suspend all trials for HCQ.

Even though France’s very own Dr. Raoult was successfully using HCQ in his treatment protocol, France was one of the first countries to severely restrict access to the drug. This suppression of treatment was done in a system of socialized medicine, which is supposed to protect patients from the abuses of pharmaceutical companies. The coordinated lobbying to suppress access to a life-saving treatment is considered a crime against humanity. Dr. Raoult fought hard against Gilead and testified against them during a meeting of the French National Assembly.

Since then, doctors around the world have followed suit and used this simple treatment protocol. A group of U.S. doctors appeared live in front of the Supreme Court to testify on the effectiveness of HCQ, but their success stories were immediately banned by Facebook, whose executives are apparently in on Gilead’s swindle. Nevertheless, the brave front line doctors are doing everything they can to get the word out to patients that there are physicians who will prescribe HCQ.
Gilead controls the panel that decides coronavirus treatment and has presidential candidate Joe Biden in their back pocket

According to the NIH, eight out of fifty-five members who are on the panel making suggestions for covid-19 treatment, are currently affiliated with Gilead. At least another twenty-four members of the panel have past associations with this domineering drug company. A drug company that is not only committing crimes against humanity, restricting access to treatments that work and pushing costly treatments that harm more people, but they also continue to control who gets access to treatment, while manipulating what kind of treatment is available and suppressing anything that could help people’s immune systems recover.

Gilead controls both political parties but has three times the financial influence over the Biden campaign, according to campaign donation records. Gilead’s top executives will be trying to save themselves from going to prison by campaigning for Joe Biden, who will gleefully carry out the plot of his handlers.

And who`s wife is a bigwig biologist at Gilead? Why, none other than fauci`s! The same fauci that was involved in the `gain of function` corona research that made the chinese virus so deadly, research that was considered so dangerous as to be banned in the US, only for obama to sidestep the law and give fauci funds to carry on the research in... where else but with their chinese paymasters in wuhan! Amazing, but true.

History

Founded in 2005, Natural News is a conspiracy and pseudoscience website that routinely publishes false information. The founder is Mike Adams, who owns several Questionable websites such as News Target and Trump.news.

Natural News has been blocked by Google and several others over the course of its history

Natural News is owned by Mike Adams, who owns numerous other fake and or controversial websites. The website, like all of Mike Adams’s properties, are funded through online advertising.

Analysis / Bias

In review, Mike Adams is known as the Health Ranger according to Rationalwiki. However, they point out dozens of cases where his claims are false. Besides promoting pseudoscience, Natural News is an extreme right wing biased source that frequently promotes Donald Trump propaganda such as these: President Trump has a constitutional MANDATE to use the military to protect our southern border – Richard Sacks. This article is sourced to Natural News and Brighteon News, which we have never heard of. In this conspiracy story, there is zero evidence and hence why it is a conspiracy: CONFIRMED: Barack Obama was running the entire spygate operation that violated federal law to spy on Trump.campaign officials. In general, politically, all stories favor the right and promote pseudoscience such as chemtrails, the Sandy Hook shooting being a false flag: Sandy Hook: mind-control flicker effect. Lastly, this source denies the consensus on climate change without evidence as seen here: Climate change cultists are now taking over your local weather forecast.

A factual search reveals that Natural News has failed too many fact checks to list here.

Overall, we rate Natural News a Questionable source based on the promotion of quackery level pseudoscience and conspiracy theories, as well as extreme right-wing bias. This is one of the most discredited sources on the internet.

These are the media outlets timmeh supports, causing real harm to americans.

The researchers theorize the partisan gap seen in Irma was due at least in part to conservative media pushing hurricane skepticism before the storm hit, casting doubt on official predictions of its severity and the need to evacuate.

They cite a broadcast from Rush Limbaugh a few days before the storm's arrival, where the conservative radio host blamed government officials and the media for overhyping the hurricane to "advance this climate change agenda."
While such "hurricane trutherism" existed in pockets before Irma, the researchers noted an unprecedented spike in Google searches for skeptic content in the days leading up to Irma.
