The Anti-Democrats are now fully in charge, the only way anything is going to happen is if their is a general election.
Sadly the Anti-Democrats are also in charge of this event ![]() To understand why we must urgently leave the EU, please search for and watch "Brexit the Movie" |

bj has given his word.... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Interesting. Looking at it from a simplistic point of view, it has become patently obvious that the house has not only gone all out to prevent no deal, but it is also now showing massive manipulation into kicking the can farther and extending this beyond Oct 31st.

Next general election according to the exchange - it will be one or tother surely so if you think you'll be right as to the one buy some money
Oct - 1.97 Nov - 2.68 |

Not at all. An election date would have been set by now if you could trust Boris. You can't though.

The only way to block no deal is to kick the can further than Halloween.
Johnson could actually sit tight, arrange a new deadline and withdraw his election offer and try to get his no deal through then actually. |

i dont see incentive for a november election?

if its not october then we will have a further extension...likely?
then new election gets shunted backover ? |

The only one I am fairly sure it won't be is December.

Seems daft for Labour to go with Oct 15th.
Johnson has shown all his life that he's untrustworthy and has also shown utter disdain for parliamentary protocols in recent weeks. If they agree to an election they need the date utterly locked in. There's a very high chance of no majority and deals needing to be made with other parties. So the time between the election and meeting the EU is hopefully inadequate. And from Labour's point of view they want Nige to be an active opponent in this. They want Johnson to be seen as backsliding on his brexit promises and lose the votes of the zealots to the other loons. The only ones who can't see that buy the Mail or Sun every day and so Labour will never get their votes anyway so no need to worry. |
|
By:
I think it'll be quite quick. November probably. Another extension will probably be short and on the basis of an election.
If the rebels wait too long we just end up here again and who knows what Cummings will have up his sleeve to disable our democracy. Hobble Johnson and then go in for the kill. |

I thought about this too. Are we in danger of seeing a real random scattering during a potential election? I think Labour will be out with the washing, but Remainers could flock to the Lib Dems. Could the Conservatives lose votes to the Brexit Party from Brexiteers losing patience, plus the section of leavers that don't fully trust Boris. Bear in mind that he signed off May's pathetic "deal".
Remainers would split between Labour and Lib Dems. Leavers could split between Cons and Brexit Party. Could end up a right mess. |
|
By:
remainers and brexiteers will vote tactically
tories wiped out in sw, labour lose a few to tories in north engerland lib dems gain a few more in landen not much between the parties and a coalition government with no tories |

Tactical voting will be to the fore. It really depends what Farage's lot do. If they are in it to win it, any result is possible.

"Yes" to No Deal by the end of October is RIP, currently 1.24 and will grind lower over the days.
"No" to leaving by the 31st October should surely be trading lower than 1.43? I got matched on a big lay at 1.34 last night (taking off previous trades) and somebody took out the whole book to 1.25 earlier. Last night No Deal and Leave by whatever means were both 1.34 at one stage. |

By:
vote tactically, really, i would never vote any party that wants brexit stopped so that leaves the tories and brexit party, my vote is for boris, the only mp that wants brexit done and dusted .
"Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson said she believed Mr Johnson could try to press ahead with a no-deal Brexit, despite the legislation. "I do have confidence that the bill will get through the House of Lords," she said. "But in the current circumstances where we find ourselves, where we've got a prime minister seemingly prepared to do anything to rip up the traditions of Parliamentary democracy, then I also think that we need to be very aware of the risks." is she havin a laugh, shes the one prepared to wreck democracy and not go thru with brexit, boris knows no matter how many extentions we have brexit will never pass because the majority of parliament doesnt want it and will stop at nothin to prevent it, if you want brexit you have to vote tory |
|
By:
voteing for the brexit party is a waste of time because youre takin votes away from the tories, brexit party would never get into power, basically if you vote brexit party youre handing the keys to no.10 to corbyn and brexit will be a distant memory if he gets into power
|
|
By:
|
|
By:
yes so what
|
|
By:
if you want brexit you have to vote tory otherwise corbyn will be in power, talkin about a election should it happen
|
|
By:
Errm, but we are still in the EU despite having a tory government since the referendum. Surely, some other party is worth trying now.
|
|
By:
we are only still here because remainer mps wont let us leave, gina miller started it with the article 50 crap then they voted in a tory remainer who tried to please everybody and failed and now boris who in my opinion had no choice but to suspend parliament to get thru a no deal, we will never leave with a deal because the eu wont give us a decent deal and the majority of parliament wouldnt pass thru a deal that involves us leavin the eu, so boris cant win
|
|
By:
really sick and tired of mps that clearly want brexit stopped in its tracks, rather than a new govermeant why not a compleatly new parliament with just leavers in it
|
|
By:
A new government definitely. One that represents the current wishes of this country. Only a general election can resolve that.

Following Wednesday's votes, No 10 said the public will get to choose between a deal, no deal, or "more delay".
Downing Street said the prime minister will deliver an address later setting out the "vital choice that faces our country". "It is clear the only action is to go back to the people and give them the opportunity to decide what they want: Boris to go to Brussels and get a deal, or leave without one on 31 October or Jeremy Corbyn arriving in Brussels with his surrender bill begging for more delay, more dither and accepting whatever terms Brussels imposes over our nation," the spokesperson said. forgive me if im wrong but isnt a deal the same as more delay |
|
By:
|
|
By:
oh so youre saying that lib dems and labour represent the current wishes of the country, lib dems want brexit stopped and labour want the single market/customs union included in a deal but will campaign to remain (like that makes any sense)

anna sourby posted that she beleives the country has changed its mind and wishees to stay, what planet do these mps live on
