really sick and tired of mps that clearly want brexit stopped in its tracks, rather than a new govermeant why not a compleatly new parliament with just leavers in it
We could easily get that without a general election, just allow Boris to replace the MP's that he has just purged.
Then he can go on to replace the opposition MP's with new Conservative MP's, sprinkled in with a few from the Brexit party.

jucel69, it is an accurate statement, MV3 lost by 58 votes, 34 Conservatives voted against it, had they voted for it, it would have passed with a majority of 10.
Which part of that is untrue ?

It's absolutely true 100%.

It wasn't Brexit, we wouldn't have left if we had voted for that.

So you did well over the Brexit vote in 2016 then? Polls all stacked the other way. You must be some sort of troll.

Yeah, so accurate. Suits the agenda for the left. Was the original vote and the European elections not enough to show what the majority of this country want?

skywalker, the polls are there for you to see. There were no polls that showed a remain landslide. It was a toss up, I backed the biggest price, what don't you understand ? Btw, I did also back Trump. Clinton was ahead in nearly all the polls nationwide but not by much and the electoral college is skewed to favour the winner of certain key states. Trump was the value bet.

Exactly, if you are given 5/4 on the toss of a coin, just keep on backing it.

I do think it is possible we will be out by 31st October. This mob do not believe or understand what Parliamentary Sovereignty is. They will do whatever they can to ignore laws that think do not apply to them. I would not trust them. I would not rely on the bill that they have passed even if it becomes law to be abided by.I am convinced the only way to delay Brexit on October 31st is to take control of the Executive and apply for an extension directly.
You said extension. The market I am talking about has an October 31st expiry. Regardless of how we come out (if we come out) deal or no deal, it certainly won't be by the end of October.

Sorry Pete,Did not know you had a bet on it. I don't think we will be leaving by 31st October personally.I didn't think we would. All these people calling for our Parliament to become Sovereign and free have no idea what they are asking for or even basic mathematic ability. Add to that Dorris throwing away any vestiges of his majority we have a Government who cannot possibly govern. We have an Opposition who until recently could not oppose!I also have a belief that we may not ashley be leaving the EU.I think Brexiters are right in their fears. The Remain Camp is not really moving for a fresh referendum for the Country to decide. They may be at face but the real intention is to manoeuvre the situation that we stay in the EU.I believe they have learned the lessons of the Dark Arts from Messrs Cumming, Chump, Bannon and Fromage and have been returned with savage spin. The dirty war is currently being lost by Brexit. Lessons have been learnt
That's ok mate, I'm all greened up. I want us out. But I don't see it getting done by 31st Oct. The "No" bet on the 31st Oct leave market is bordering on free money.

You'd be advised to be careful on these political markets - the date of May "leaving" was a farce on Betfair - so people on here unfairly stung I noticed.Remember Cummings (i think) said they were prepared to break the law to achieve Brexit. We live is such turbulent times so much so that those who pronounced "Brexit is law" and "Parliament is sovereign" are now saying we are more than prepared to ignore the law and parliament.Take your profit, be happy and dont be greedy - (of course, that applies to all markets I suppose, but especially these ones)
Sound advice.
