With regards to the matrix, they are looking for reasons not to pay out.

I had a response saying they are sorry blah blah, esculating to the specialist team etc.... and oh yes you played 43 days and got over 1000 points but any status points earned under 10 will not contribute.  So will await response from the specialist team.

NOWHERE did it say you have to earn a minimum of 10 status points for a day to actually count.

This is without doubt a way for them to reduce the payout bonus.

They've removed the Brazil warm up page so you can't check what you should have. I'm still missing 11 x $1.10 tickets and around 500 of those 1c games. $5 is better in my pocket than Betfair's.

Oh and 4 free spins on the Arcade, but as Im self excluded not sure how I redeem those.

I got on to support who said he'd pass it on to the "gaming team". I don't have a screen grab and I can't prove anything now they've removed the promotion page but I'm missing $50 cash, 11 x $1.10 tickets, 500 of those useless 1c spins and STTs (I would take $5 instead) and 130 VPP points which I would use as I'm on a RB deal. He did credit me with tickets for tonights $2k and $1k freerolls.

I'm more concerned about the randomness of this promotion, winning 20 of those 1c tickets in a row is astronomical and to win the same several day in a row is near impossible. If these weren't random then is the top prizes random or did they just pick someone they know? I haven't seen a list of winners.

Yes, that's the problem with these complicated promotions.
They're so complicated that they can't administer them properly.
Betfair customer services don't understand how they work so what chance have the punters got?

Overman - the scratch cards were not random at all. My last 200+ were all 1c vouchers.

It would be difficult how a Poker company could invent a worst promotion than this Brazil idea. However it must be odds on that the Smart Minds in Malta/Hammersmith can do it again.

As someone pointed out at the start of the promo the free spins you had to play through your initial credit something like 30 times before you could actually withdraw any money, so it was just about trying to get poker people using the Arcade. Its the same when ever you go in the bookies on a Saturday and the staff are all over you asking if you want to enter the free competitions on the FOBT's. I always tell them politely to fk off as I dont want to go near the wretched things.

I know you are usually so far up BF's arse Oval you find it hard to see whats going on in the real world, but I'm really struggling to see how you can claim the promotion was great ???

It was flawed from the outset and got progressively worse. The prizes were clearly not random, hardly anybody played the 1 cent games, nobody could get the free spins to work, the STT tickets weren't credited, the tokens for the Freerolls werent credited, the first payment was 4 days late, the second payment was late, and when it was made it was horribly inadequate, so that some of us who had been grinding for over a month are sat waiting for three figure sums we may never get.

As a result those of us who came back for the promotion have merely had our doubts about this promoters competence confirmed.

Nothing about it was great- other than we got a few quid out of the Freerolls.

Any m0r0n can dream up a brilliant looking promotion, but if you cant deliver any aspect of it, how does that equate to being great ? It was an interesting concept, and thats about as far as it went. Compared to the Xmas Promo's of yesteryear it was a damp squib. It was certainly no Prize Mountain.

What I suggest you do before dissing posters like Mexico is grab yourself a dictionary, and look up the word promotion.

It was only 60 per cent RB IF, and its a very big IF, you played all 50 days at the top end, AND played EXACTLY the number of games required, AND actually got paid what you were due. For most it worked out at around 50%, and that was assuming you got paid, and thus far all the evidence suggests nobody has.

The fact you are having to chase what you are due, had to hassle Live Support for tokens, and HOPE the site will pay you what you are due 5 days after the promo ended, confirms how great it was at achieveing its aim of promoting the site.

The promotion wasnt great, the customer service wasnt great, and the delivery wasnt great. These are completely undisputable facts. It may well have been a great concept, but the fact you fully admit they couldnt deliver confirms as a promotional tool it failed and failed miserably.

You can stick the name chipfire227 into Sharkscope and see how good BF Poker has been for me down the years, Im not talking sour grapes here, but the reality is that their Poker product has been going down the pan for years. WE PAY FOR THESE PROMOS via paying the highest entry fees anywhere in the Western World, and we shouldnt have to spend hours firing off mails or sitting waiting for live chat.

You may think that promotes the poker product really well, and its your prerogative to defend BF, but I cant see anyone else on the thread who agrees with you or has faith in them to deliver in the future.

Exactly, all that matters to you is YOUR bottom line. You binked a couple of hundred dollars in the Freeroll, therefore anybody who says it wasnt a great promotion is wrong and you are right, because you did okay out of it.

Wheras a guy who won 700 describes it as a disaster, because he can see the bigger picture.

You then bang on about 60% RB when there is no way on Gods Earth you went anywhere near completing the 50 days at the top level. So how in the name of the Baby Jesus you can preach to those of us that did have a go at it and never got paid is beyond me?

I made a few hundred out of it but it just isnt worth the hassle. What does it work out at ? A fiver an hour or something ? You would earn more working in Macdonalds. You are on about chasing them for 3 quid FFS. How can it be an ev+ use of your limited time on this earth to chase someone for 3 quid ?

What you should have said was that YOU THOUGHT it was a great promotion for you personally, because thats what your comments in your role as unofficial PR Manger for BF amount to. And maybe shown a bit of empathy for those poor souls how did do the top level and havent been paid , instead of suggesting they are wrong to grumble.

I've barely played on the site since the switch from Ongame, and when I did it was for the Elite Freerolls. I play 90 per cent of my poker elsewhere.

I came back for this promotion-

Was the first payment made on time- NO

Was the second payment made on time- NO

Was the payout correct- NO

Were you able to use the free spins- NO

Were tokens issued for the Freeroll- NO

Were STT tokens issued- NO

Were VPPs credited correctly - NO

I could go on but I think its pretty obvious that the promotion failed in pretty much every way, shape, and form, and the only way players got credited was if they complained to the Helpdesk, and even then they didnt get paid everything. Nothing was done automatically when it was promised, and most of us are owed money, and a fair bit more than 3 quid.

Last time I looked this was the poker forum and a place where folk could discuss their issues. If people are owed money and have come up against a brick wall trying to get it they are entitled to be unhappy. To be honest, the last thing they want is a 2 dollar player telling them everything is great, and if they dont like it to fk off and play elsewhere.

From what I recall that was pretty much your attitude when loads of us were getting repeat disconnections- " it works fine for me so who cares ? "
