John. (and all).
I think the structure is great. And small stakes social on these are good too. Well done. Best of luck with getting all the IT side and giving it a go and not getting the tourney to collapse. And still watching... |

Hi Kunku,
I am trying to look at this from 3 points of view, Being the player, Betfair, And YOU If all 3 work together everyone can benefit from this The prizes were already stated for this tournament / Competition, So why not leave it as it is. lol - - - - - - - Seriously, You have already put in overtime by working with the players by taking part in this competition whilst also replying here (When you didn't have too) Already YOU have improved the community game by taking part and trying the new idea of the inrunning commentary thing which I missed (No net connection at the time) YOU have also said YOU would be happy to consider the day out prizes to POSSIBLY be changed for something poker related with you If your prepared to do this, I think betfair can make it possible to set up a MIGHTY competition in the near future If your renegotiating your contract, lol You could think of some 2nd and 3rd poker related prizes that are convenient with you IF its possible, We could pay MORE per game to cover the costs. And YOU (Kunku) Would also be able to play for the prize (IF you need or Wanted too) I'm NOT asking for a walk in the park, I want something seriously difficult to win But It MUST lead to the biggest seat available in poker, One the players can NOT turn down |
|
By:
You are NOT overstepping your boundaries, By going to the poker team with new ideas to produce more players
In fact, They might be happy that you went to them with a suggestion The comments above took me quite a bit of time to type out, And I appreciate your time and efforts in replying From THE GREATEST I'm not sure what you meant by 5LeepWalker sp ? |

Some people complained that the tournament lasted too long so we have changed the rebuy tourneys on the 5th and 19th October to 30 minute rebuy period!

John,
You have JJ in the cutt off and raise 2 x BB, the button re-raises and the the BB shoves, you have a deep stack and have both the button and BB easily covered.... My Question is, do you at this point have pastrami or ham on your sandwich? |

Kunku is "GREAT"
Working with the players for a better future at the tables on BETFAIR Early days, And I hope this is the start of something that attracts more players At the end of the broadcast I was left smiling to myself, When kunku wap (John tabatabai) mentioned possibly bringing in other players to have a chat etc As a player I like to hear about other players times at the tables / Success stories / Conspiracies / Lots of things poker related I like to hear how players got into poker, How they have achieved what they have achieved. With so many subjects on the game I think the broadcasts will be good In the past some players have moaned on this forum about how the site DON'T listen, Now the player has the chance to tune in and listen LIVE whilst playing and being involved in a game with a sponsored pro We didn't have this in the past, And I will certainly be tuning in for future games Cheers for making this possible kunku |

JoKeR373,
I only entered to take part, Anybody on the same table as me earlier would have seen me type that I didn't even know the rules properly for omaha Also previously in this thread I suggested that it would be better If the stakes were increased, So we do have a bit more to play for If the stakes increase then maybe I might put in more effort, But last nights game was all about taking part. Wanting to hear the broadcast and purely to try and DONK kunku Although I didn't get to DONK kunku, I was happy with the broadcast I should have prepared some questions earlier, But wasn't sure how the broadcast was going to work out Kunku seen the funny side and mentioned the post I typed in the broadcast, (lol) Hopefully the amount of players will grow for these games in the future and offer the platform to show the GREATNESS you are so eagarly anticipating |

Any particular reason we are starting at 9pm tonight?
|
|
By:
does seem a bit odd, would probably be ok if they were 6min levels and not 10, come on b/f the boss has spoken
|
|
By:
Was going to ask the same question myself, especially as some people have vbeen complaining of late finishes
|
|
By:
Oh there you go then! That's the reason for the late start. You complain about late finishes...and now it starts later. PUNISH THE COMPLAINERS!!
I would like to go on record stating the tournament starts too early. (this should bring forward the start time for next week. It's called advanced poker. Reverse, reverse, reverse psychology) gl all tonight :) |

i think we should have it on a thursday then, and gl.

I got to be up at half 6 for work, so 9pm start for a tourney with a 10,000 chip starting stack, and ten minute blinds is a definite non-starter for me.
Given this is meant to be a game for recreational regs, a potential finish time of 3 a.m in the middle of the week for a first place prize of about 60 quid is madness imho, but good luck to all those taking part. ![]() |
|
By:
why no reply from betfair prmanager, probably gone home for an early night [:x]
|
|
By:
there is a $5 10 min level running parallel to the comunity game. with a top prize of about $800, , bit of a pr disaster, nowt new there then
