you're taking the mickey out of me when actually its a tongue in cheek name that was thought up many years ago by someone else. as we used to get 120+ regularly and a lot of forumites are in the same boat as myself (play bfwcop but dont play bf poker) are you happy to tar them with the same brush, ie parasites etc

the more you post the more you reveal you have nfi about what you're talking about.

isnt now the time to just keep schtum?

As I have said often before, it does not offend me or annoy me - but it would just be better for me if posters knew 100% that I am a female.  If the situations were reversed, men on here would moan soon enough.  I have had four years of it.

Annie from your numerous posts here regarding the subject of making your gender clear it appears to annoy you otherwise you wouldn't have any reason for demanding clarity. I understand your frustration but I don't see what good BetfairPokerPR confirming you're female is going to do as not every single user reads this thread and even if you redirect them they may just ignore it. People have already seen that you don't like being referred to as a male so they'll probably just carry on regardless or claim that you've had a sex change and were formerly a 14 stone male truck driver or something along those lines.

akabula, this Worl Championship of Poker that you're laughing and taking the pee out of has always been a social even when players on Betfair poker got together to socialise and become friends. It's always been open to every single person on this forum and the three that I've been to have had 80+ people there every time. I would've thought you'd be able to understand this and not actually laugh at it as, judging by your comments on another thread, your main gripe seems to be that you can't play with your mates on the new site and have a chat.

I have no issues with the idea but to answer SOC and to get to the point I was making why should any of the money generated by betfair poker players be used to subsidize people who don't play on the site and indicate they left because they either didn't like it or got a better deal elsewhere and have no intention of coming back. Is a joke that they benefit from this.
SOC also went out of his way to comment adversly on one of the better posters on this site - see his attention seeking comment both here and on the BFWCOP thread.
I just think he came across as a typical freeloader . Remember the old adage - Put a beggar on horseback and he'll ride into town.
Any additions to prize money and any free drinks etc should only go to betfair poker players.
As regards the world of poker championship I got the impression SOC took the title really seriously.
Hope it's a good weekend and that a betfair player/team sweeps up.

Apologies if this has been addressed, but I do not have the time to wade through all the posts as Annie's gender does not concern me.  Yes, I am also aware I missed the Q&A, but if any BFPR's are still around ---------- I do wonder with Bwin and Party merging how long will we even play on this skin.  When the merger goes through will it stay the same, change to Party's skin, will a whole new one appear or is it still up in the air?

akabula, understand this, the bfwcop came about through the forum which was a community of people playing poker or betting through betfair.
since it started, the bf poker software has gotten steadily worse, resulting in many players leaving for greener pastures. each year a live
meet up is organised, and if betfair choose to sponsor it, who are you to comment?

i suppose the corollary is you buying a new volvo, and then volvo sponsor the womens tennis event at eastbourne - which you are seething about as the women players benefit from the prizemoney, some of which has surely come from your wallet, yes? unfortunately you lose the say on what happens with your cash once you part from it.

re my adverse comments, i suppose you're ok with annie insulting me and calling me thick? i see you never made any comments about that. if you read back through what i posted see if you can find where i do the same or even make a harsh comment?

finally - its bfwcop, so world championship of poker, and i repeat what i said earlier. all are welcome and its an open invite. as usual with a public forum not everybody agrees with one another, but there hasn't been any friction that i've ever witnessed aside from a great deal of banter.

If you are feeling a bit left out with the lack of chat at the tables, you should go to BFWCOP.  Best place to meet everyone you talk to online.  SoC is actually quite nice when you get to know him, though it looks like a few of you have managed to tilt him somewhat.

Firstly as somebody who is easily tilted, aa beat by two rags normally does it for me, I do sincerely apologise for putting you on tilt as I know how expensive this can be. I probably have been a bit strong in my comments but I can't help how I feel regards peep not playing on betfair but using the forum for anything other than contacting m8s. And I also can't help how I feel re non betfair players benefiting in any way from betfair funds. Maybe though I should be attacking betfair trather than players.
As I've said previously though I hope everybody has a great time but that the current betfair players sweep the board.

Can't quite see how table chat is unfair to people learning to play poker, anyway the old site gave the option to turn chat off, so if they were bothered by chat the newbies could do so surely?
If it's them you are worried about helping then surely "find player" option could be a great help to them as they could find and watch good players and learn from them.
Only being able to "find a friend" with their permission would be a logistical nightmare, how much time would WE spend permitting and rejecting requests?
The idiots would be out in force sending random requests to all and sundry, terrible idea.
Thanks Annie for raising excellent points .

probably not. to be honest most of us have either left or are playing the majority of our poker elsewhere. looking at the current stt leaderboard theres only the account sharing foreigners and the colluders left playing any volume.

I'll tell you whats on my mind you f**king horsesh*t site. Your site is so f**king bent it gives bent sites a fu*king bad name. Same f**king patterns emerge time after time. No use playing decent hands cus they always get beat by s**t. Big stacks always suck out the small stacks no matter what they play. You want the games over in a set time and no amount of decent play by solid players will stop you achieving that. The wineers on this site are usually idiots that get lucky with s**t hands. Good play is not rewarded. BF is a f**king piece of s**t, no good, ar*e sucking, sh*tbag site. If you feel the need to respond? Dont f**king bother. I will be long gone to play live poker from now on. Nothing could ever tempt me back to online poker you F**king sh*tbags!

every month as soon as the leaderboard starts at least one new face  appears playing loads of 22$ d2ns, then disappears at the end of the 2 week period.

must be getting the sign up bonus as well as the lb payment every month.

they banned 2 of them the other month but didnt refund any of us that were playing against them. which to be frank is absolutely disgraceful.

sends out a clear message :  open a new account every month and share it with a few of yr mates.

at the very least they should amend the promotional blurb from this :

Prove your skill in our Silver and/or Gold Sit 'n' Go Leaderboards with $30,000 in cash up for grabs in March

to this :

chance your arm against some of the top eastern european professional account sharers and coullders where you have fk all chance of winning no matter how many hours you put in and fk all chance of being refunded on the off chance we catch them cheating and ban* them from the site.

* the word ban in this instance requires the user to re-register under a different name with a different credit card to allow them to claim the sign up bonus as well as their leaderboard payment.

As a matter of interest, assuming it was a level playing field, and ignoring which game you were best at, what would be the optimum game to play in order to give you a chance of winning a sng leaderboard? I myself only tend to play the 30 seat turbos, $3, $5, $10 which I enjoy as a sideline to mtts. I said to myself I would only play $3 & $5 until I showed a $200 profit on Sharkscope - which took me roughly 800 games - lol. Now I'm playing $5 & $10 tourneys and am up to $320. If I get to $400, will go to 5$, $10 & $20. Been amazed at my self discipline. Happy

to b honest lb are there to generate cake for bf, so they will probably never change.[roi boards just simply dont make poker sites extra revenue much]
they wer good motivation for lazy people like me to play.
if u break even player at all games u score 20pts in every game average, except the 30 man games were your average pts is slightly higher.
to b honest 10 handed and 30 man gamesare easist to multi table,[ and when u get randomly disconned in game su lose much less ev in these than say a don where it can kill yer game, or a 5 man where the other guys can quickly blind u out].

no probs with them having a leaderboard. my issue is that ALL promos are  geared towards high volume players ( theres a rakerace AND a leaderbaord thats a rake race) and nothing for anyone else paying over the industry standard to play.

why should i pay 10 per cent for d2n and heads up to subsidise cheats when i can pay 5 per cent elsewhere and be playing in games that are straight ?

furthermore by concentrating all prize money into a 14 day period rather than the old weekly boards they must be losing revenue.

however you look at it playing the 20$ d2n during the leaderboard period must be the most ev- stt in existence.
