i do my other job at the same time as playing stts. hence why my roi isnt as high as it could be if i focussed on them solely which a lot of u dont seem to understand. like i have said i operate a volume model where i am looking to win a tiny percentage of a much bigger number but overall make more bottomm line cash overall which is the sole reason to invest money surely. roi isnt really important to me as i have no reason to brag to people how good i am. just here to max cash made not mythical figures on a poker results site to impress people to say how good i am

if only, if only....

The irony of starting a whining thread, then having 90% of your own posts stating how good you are is not lost.

I PUSH YOU FOLD !
When: 04 Dec 09 09:32
The funniest is bit of this whole thread is push donks having a go at ranges etc.

"This empty feeling. This pain. Why Betfair, why? I have to be the unluckiest player in the world!" Anyone else familiar with these emotions? No? I didn't think so. I'm probably the only one. I remember reading an article once about how we always think that we ended up choosing the wrong line in store, or the wrong lane in traffic. I have saved a quote in my mind going something like: "I always pick the wrong line! The guy who enters a line behind me always gets to the register before I do." But when we get into a line that moves quick and smooth, we don't remember because there's nothing to complain about. It's just what's supposed to happen. But everytime the line moves a bit slower, and the old lady infront of us can't find her money, we remember. "..that #@$"#%$ old "£$#"¤% lady!"

If you already get my point, the rest of this post is probably irrelevant. But to the ones who are not quite there yet, help yourselves. If we compare the example above to poker, its somewhat similar (besides that in poker you have two cards in your hand and yadeyadeyade

Yes - a great post. My problem is that my rational brain knows all this inside out, but my emotional brain doesn't manage to tell my body to stop doing stupid things like tilting off a lump of money after a bad beat. :(

You feel 2.5 times more 'despondent' when you lose than you are 'happy' when you win

It's been a bit of a pet subject of mine these winning losing streaks and how you're affected when things go wrong and really there is only one answer to try and minimise the pain of it all, as boring as it may be, and that is to stay well within your limit.
I've done all right out of poker (not I pushes or ysoserious etc amounts) but enough to be happy with, but I haven't really got anything to show for it - I always end up donking it away on horse or football betting or get involved with games I'm no good at ie cash & stts.
Last month, was a good one by my standards I won about £2000 including cake & leader board money. The balance was looking good but because the money was there I started to donk it off. I came in one night drunk played 6 stts btween $100 and $200 - way above my normal stakes - and fortunately didn't do too much damage. I blew a bit on horses and footie too.
At the beginning of the week I took a large slice out and vowed no more football, horses, cash or stts.
I'm going to concentrate on mtts up to a buy in of about $30 and if I can't get in the bigger nightly games without satting I'm not going to play them until my roll gets bigger. I'm going to follow Chris Fergusons advice and try and stick to .02% of my roll for buy in.
I've had some horrendous runs at poker, probably made worse by playing cash and stts and hopefully this method will ease things a bit. I'm determined to stick to this and avoid horses (except if I have a day at the races) and most of all the football - which are far more tilt inducing than poker. I can handle losing runs at poker much better than football or horses.
My aim is to be in profit, maybe get a holiday out of my winnings, before I go back to work in March. (rockme)

It seems to need a miracle just to have a winning bet on the horses or football never mind win consistently.

yet again serious u call off ur stack when 27 hands are beating u on the bubble of a stt and suck out. u are the most golden donk i have ever seen. why do u call ur stack off with king high when there is no need for u to get involved and the 3rd stack is much shorter than us unless u know the king is coming? u talk about my bubble play being awful but urs just sucks but u suck out every time being the only reason why u are a winning player
By:

in a 60/40 pay out structure where there is little incentive to gamble to win the event compared to other sites with 70/30 payouts u still call ur stack off with king high off and obviously isntantly find the king
By:

u have to be able to see either a- the hole cards and/or b the flop prior to u making ur decisions otherwise they just dont make any sense. there is so much corrupion in online poker i have to start thinking this is happening right here on bf with this golden donk. u just cant win at the rate he does playing straight over the period of games he does

justify ur king high off suit call on the bubble of a stt then? i cant wait to here it given a 60/40 pay out structure and u are a comfortable 2nd stack and u are losing to 27 hands

no explanation for ur god damn awful king high call then as usual. just ignore ur donk plays and dont post the hand history for that one.
u are easily the most golden donk ever to play on this forum. be nice if u would just admit it one time rather than pretend u get ur money in good.

why the threats of violence all the time? why dont u just admit u are golden. obv u dont like anyone exposing how golden u run to th epoint where u must be close to be controlling the deck and/or seeing the hole cards. it has happened loads of times on other sites. given bfs lack of ability to stop collision it is probably more likely to happen here than anywhere else

Arby you seem to have odd take in life where you think you can insult people and get no sort of real life reaction.

Your world:
Arby "Hello Ysoserious you k unt"
Ysoserious "Hello mate"
Arby "Hello joffy you **"
Joffy "Hello mate"

Real world:
Arby "Hello Ysoserious you k unt"
Ysoserious head buts arby
Arby "Hello joffy you **"
Joffy wee's up Arby's leg.

Its how it is, dish it out & exepct to get it back properly. Now seriously if you are winning keep doing what your good at but grow up. You made a grt response to Mavis thread but then continued your nonsense.

2 hands v u today serious and guess what everyone serious crushed pre flop both times. 5/2 shot both times serious is. guess what he sucks out both times.

dont u get it serious why i think u are a corrput fuc ker? u never ever stick it in in front yet continue to win day after day. 10/1 shot u win both hands. i have only played 2 all ins v u today and look what happens as usual. day after day after day. no one else on the site gets it in so bad as u and continues to win. after a while any sane person has to assume you are in bed with the it dept at bf
By:

i dont like not playing on the site but what else can someone do when u are so obviously playing against someone no matter how far behind they are always win against u. it never happens like this consistently unless u are sitting at the tables serious. therefore i have no other choice but to not play when u are around. this will kill liquidity on the site but what else can someone who is straight and expects a fair game do? the sample size is now just too big for this pattern to be chance day after day after day

more disgusting insults towards the "little boy", keep them coming. Fwiw ive played 13 sng today, unplaced in 12 and 2nd in one, mostly to bad beats and running bad, but I dont come on here moaning do I. Ax vs Ax in blinds at 50/100 when you're short, hardly the suckout from hell.

% you're not going anywhere, the discount poker gives you on sportsbetting from 5% to 2%, if you're a big time trader like you say will save you an incredible amount, plus the sick promotions and such you've been getting mean you can't play poker anywhere but here bc you can't afford to move.

so, metaphorically speaking, please jog on.

and look what happens to the lobby when arb moves it is empty. bf u seriously have to realise that something is not quite right with serious and his action. i refuse to play with the guy so if u want ur stt lobby liquidity damaged even further i suggest u start looking into serious's action and realise its mathematically impossible for this stick it in behind fish to be as far ahead as he is unless something underhand is going on. none of the forum clique will admit it who are probably in bed with him. i dont mind doing my dough but to contiunally do it in this manner is enough to make anyone physically sick and u have to realise that something is not quite right. scandals have happened all over the net ulitmate bet etcetc when something like this contuines to happen u have to eventaully say enough is enough. u cant back 5/2 shots in the real world which win like serious does. it just doesnt happen. either does it happen with any other player on this site. i shoudl know i play more games on here than anyone.
