1) i have watched a few of your d2n games and if you want to know the truth you are garbage at them, and will continue to donk off big style unless you learn how to play them.
2) my scope ability rating is the same as yours, primarily because i dont play high stakes. 3) you are lucky i dont have the bankroll to play d2ns at your stakes, because if i did i would take money off you. 4) you should be grateful to me for getting those colluders who were mugging you off banned last month. 5) you should be grateful to all bf regs who bankroll the leaderboards without which you would go busto. 5) instead of mouthing off at all and sundry you should try using your brain. be humble. you admit you dont claim to be a good player so instead of abusing people seek their advice. when i went on a downswing people like soap and mavis couldnt have been more helpful. instead of assuming you know everything, try asking for advice. thats assuming you want to get better. 6) to sum up, you keep talking when you should be listening. hth |

By:
lets make it 130k, then get you on a building site working and see how long you survive with your attitude towards other people
talking about me having an ego, being a little boy and bragging and blah blah (totally unfounded) then coming on here bad mouthing people who play $5 games like you're better, just pathetic |
|
By:
u cant run this good for much longer serious. thats the bottom line. which is why i wont go broke.
Chip - if u are so good why havent u got the bankroll to play $200 sngs!!!! dont make me laugh. u dont need much of a roll to play these unless u run as insanely badly as me. |
|
By:
go bust without leaderboards? it would simply reduce my 6 figure poker income bby $25k thats all if leaderboards were scrapped. hardly going to send me busto. love a kid who cant afford to play $200 sngs telling a self made bankrolled player way out of his league how to look after his money. just like all the other players on here chip u prefer to have a 10% roi than actually make money. u keep doing the margin model whilst i will keep grinding out the volume model hoovering all the big bonuses and packages that the margin 'look at my 10% roi at micro stakes 1 tabling on scope' boys contribute towards but never get close to winning.
|
|
By:
chip it sounds like my cake every fortnight is twice the size of ur bankroll if u cant afford to play $100 d2ns!!!!
|
|
By:
maybe its u with ur 10% roi on scope but no roll needs to look at what u do and realise u aint making a penny from the game if u cant afford to play $100 d2ns. all that is happening to be is constantly being sucked out when miles in front. that will change. being a potless know it all like u wont change if u dont do something about it. forgot bragging about having a 10% roi and try actually making some money so u can play above micro stakes
|
|
By:
arbboy--your bubble play atd2n is awful..you cant make money until u definiate between d2n and turbo bubbles
|
|
By:
i refer you to my previous post
arbboy 28 Nov 02:49 so i am in profit for £3500 ($5000) on d2ns this year. i have played 4600 of them with $10 cake per game. $46k cake so $18400 in ******** from these games. plus aussie millions package from playing them $18k. This is before any refunds from teh immense collusion which the regulars have faced recently playing these games. Therefore i work out that by playing d2ns this year i have made roughly $40,000. If that makes me the worst player on the site then i can handle it |

he is doing it again. he cant himself, the patronising moron.
he starts off like he is going to be sensible for once and then off he goes. 2,3,4, posts over someone he reckons is a 2 bit player who isnt in his league. as for the crap about losing huge amounts to colluders thats the biggest pile of garbage ive heard in ages. the colluders made 3k max. they actually lost moneyplaying in my games which is why i wasnt compensated. if you were losing immense sums to them you wouldnt have carried on playing unless you were seriously retarded. has it ever ocurred to you that your huge downswing is due to a comple and utter inability to master the game or develop as a player. |

you are both idiots

dont fck with columbo, he has busted many bandits on this site, and he keeps a truncheon in his mackintosh to hit u with....

Aarboy as a neutral observer you don't come across as a 1st class pratt.
One look at Sharkscope tells me you are average, the various hand histories confirm this. Your rantings verge on the delusional. You win things based on the phenomenal amount of games you play but it's a case of quantity over quality. Ysoserious clearly owns you and bragging on one hand and spitting your dummy out simultaneously is churlish. Take a reality check, analyse your own shortcomings and try to improve your game IMHO. Oh, and your attitude to. If that doesn't change others will continue to revel in any failings. |

whoops, don't = do. Sorry :(

Been very interesting thread, probably the best there has been on the forum and it asks (in amongst all the nastiness) what I keep asking, how do you know if you're a good/unlucky player or lucky bad player?

Agree with soap :D
Arb / chip/ Farrer/ sven anyone else who multi tables on this site, out of interest: 1. How many hours per day do you play on average? 2. Do you take regular breaks or play right through for a few hours? 3. When multitabling do you start up a batch of say 10/12/16 tables and run them thru til they end or are you re-regging as soon as you get eliminated? 4. How is the software when you open 10+ tables? Does it start to lag much? 5. With the leaderboards structured as they are, given your 'usual' volume, would you expect to come top 3 or 5 if you only broke even profitwise through the week? 6. Today I played a few stts etc, the lobby seems to be getting a bit busier again, is this right? Whats the traffic like these days at various times? morning? afternoon? evening? night? 7. How many tourneys in totaL do you think you play on an average day of grinding? Just curious, been grinding myself on various sites. Cheers |

You have to ruin this thread with a sensible question Mavo.
And we all know what sites you've been 'grinding' on. ;) |
|
By:
I know, sorry :^0
And as for your last comment..... you pervert!! You should wash your mouth out immediately imvco. |
|
By:
i dont play that much on bf any more mavo. last month caked less than in any previous month.
if i try playing more than 4 tables the lag is so bad it puts me on tilt.particularly if im doing anything else on the pc at the same time. i've never been a leaderboard contender as i have a life outside of poker i.e. work, football, kids etc. i know peter jepsen was 16 tabling during the stt bounty promotion so clearly it can be done. probably the best people to ask are the likes of gnasher, riv rat, or i guess even sleepwalker who mutitables super turbos 11 hours a day. i cant play for more than a couple of hours at a time without losing the will to live, and when i do play its normally because im the house watching a film, or sport on tv. if the xmas promotions are any good it might rekindle my interest. |

1. How many hours per day do you play on average?
depends none up to 14 if i fancy doing a long session. overall similar hours over a week to what i would have done in a regular job just split over diff hours 2. Do you take regular breaks or play right through for a few hours? tend to play right through unless i have something else to do. hardly hard work playing stts. working down a mine is hard work. 3. When multitabling do you start up a batch of say 10/12/16 tables and run them thru til they end or are you re-regging as soon as you get eliminated? i just sit in every stt i wish to play and wait for them to fill. when they start i sit in the new ones. always try to sit in the d2ns first before the props as only the first player in a d2n gets 85%**if they are a prop so its always nice to try to pip the props to sitting down first. if you ever wondered why the props sit down so quick in d2ns when a new games starts up in the lobby this is why. 4. How is the software when you open 10+ tables? Does it start to lag much? software is fine with 10 tables for me. only ever slows down when i have 12 or more games going and i am not sure if its my machine or the software which slows it down. 5. With the leaderboards structured as they are, given your 'usual' volume, would you expect to come top 3 or 5 if you only broke even profitwise through the week? if i play my usual volume i would expect to win the leaderboard whatever my profit for the week as the leaderboards are about volume 85% and not results. as they should be a reward from bf for their biggest customers not their biggest winners. biggest winners suck money out of the system for bf so why would they ever want to reward the biggest winners. they run a business not a charity to say 'well done on ur 15% roi over a sample of 20 games this week but u havent given us much cake' 6. Today I played a few stts etc, the lobby seems to be getting a bit busier again, is this right? Whats the traffic like these days at various times? morning? afternoon? evening? night? lobby has increased a bit but its mainly due to aussie promo. think it will fall off again after xmas when this disappears 7. How many tourneys in totaL do you think you play on an average day of grinding? on a busy day i will get between 10000 and 15000 bf points so probably around £500 to £750 in cake a day so at $10 a game on average probably between 80 and 120 stts a day on a busy day |

It seems like all this sit n go is hard work to me. You play stupid hours for minimal money. I would say why don't you player higher or cash but the answer is obvious...............
|
|
By:
Much better Arbs a decent response from you.
It took six pages but WD. |
|
By:
yeah, fair play to arb, thats a decent post.
|
|
By:
depends what u mean by min money if a $100k a year tax free 2nd income is minimal then you must have a nice life in these recessionary times. i am sure a lot of the haters on these thread dream about making $100k a year tax free from their main income never mind a 2nd income
not really sure why a big winner from the bf system has to listen to rubbish from people like chip when he openly admits he cant afford to even play $200 d2ns. what sorta of joke bankroll must u have to not be able to play these then u comment on how bad i am when i take over $100k a year out of the bf poker system which u obv can only dream about. it may sound arrogant but they are the bottom line facts. u may not play the same way as me but surely one of the forum clique can admit what i do is profitable or are u really all so blind to the number on sharkscope? |
|
By:
When you are playing up to 14 hours a day what do you do for 1st job only 24 hours in a day............................
|
|
By:
i do my other job at the same time as playing stts. hence why my roi isnt as high as it could be if i focussed on them solely which a lot of u dont seem to understand. like i have said i operate a volume model where i am looking to win a tiny percentage of a much bigger number but overall make more bottomm line cash overall which is the sole reason to invest money surely. roi isnt really important to me as i have no reason to brag to people how good i am. just here to max cash made not mythical figures on a poker results site to impress people to say how good i am
|
|
By:
for 66k a yr i wouldn't bother i would rather play cash kill and win much more
|
|
By:
thats fine thats your choice. £66k after tax equates to over £100k a year salary which is fine for me given i am my own boss can work whenever i want etc etc.

jeez, knew it couldnt last.
what exactly are you rattling on about now ffs ? at the start of the the thread you were twisting about the call with a6. every man and has dog has been on and stated it was a call and given their reasons why. you were wrong but wont admit it. i havent got the bankroll to play 100/200$ stts. how does this make me a bad player ? as it happens i was offered the money by a fellow player on the site to sit down at your d2n games while you were donking off that 30k and politely declined. trust me there are plenty of players playing 20$-30$ stts who are in a different league to you ability wise. maybe one day i will play higher stakes, but at the moment i dont fancy sitting in front of a laptop playing " 14 hour d2n sessions " because it would bore the living crap out of me, and i've actually got better things to do with my time. unlike a lot of people i like my job, and i have a really active social life. playing poker is something i do recreationally. nobody is questioning your ability to play huge volumes of games ffs, we are questioning your ability and we dont need a bankroll to do that. |
