It is not a west end bar. London/essex borders bar. Still it had 1000 people through the door during the course of last night. I was there rather than playing online or a £100 mtt with ardonk. It is no big secret I haven't played many friday or saturday nights in the last few years.

I will name the bar here if I go through with a plan to turn the back room into a poker school several nights a week. It will more than match anywhere else locally. Can't decide yet if a classy place would be overrun by loads of poker peasants. Not desperate for cash, so many poker places I have been to (very few more than once) are simply full of tramps. Not sure if you could have poker nights yet still bar tramps. Are scruffy tramps simply part and parcel of live poker?

Ardonk you are a peasant claiming to have poker as a second income and lying about the figures earnt. It is common knowledge that lots of money passes through my hands from many different sources. The list of people at some stage or other from betfair owing me £1000+ is in double figures with quite a few £10,000+ loans. That is just the ones mentioned when people are slow to pay up. Now back to you, is the real reason you are upset with ysoserious is as he is kicking your butt in the leaderboards and now that he is doing so you are running at a weekly loss. You simply cannot post evidence of £100,000 profit from poker this year. If you play the Aussie Millions it will be $18,000 of your alleged profits gone unless you get miracle luck. A $10,000 mtt does not even run similar to a £150 mtt.

You moron I have money from many different sources. Poker is not one of them, this year I am losing maybe £300,000 on cash games. So you peasant some of us can be honest on profit or losses. Yes £300,000 is quite a bit of money, thankfully it is the only year I have lost during the last 6 years at poker and I have other incomes. Usually arbboy complains about bad luck but never ever posts hand histories. This time he has mentioned a specific hand where he goes all in with A3 is called by AQ and claims the opponent got lucky. Surely he now has zero credibility. It is obvious he started this thread down to the fact ysoserious wins the leaderboards weekly and he needs that money just to have a CHANCE of breaking evens. He lives nowhere near the south coast of England yet plays almost all of his live tournaments there. The guy absolutely craves the respect of his peers but how is he ever gonna get that when he is a raving mentalist.

in fairness to arb it has to be a choker. you hit your miracle 3 outer only for your opponent to immediately press his " win button " to take the pot.
given he is up against colluders, people who can see his hole cards, and those in the forum clique with magic win buttons, it shows how good he is that he can make 100 grand a year from stts, while maintaining his rank as 25th best player in europe. gutted i wasnt quick enough to get a % of him in the aussie millions. :-( |
