I watched Phil Ivey throughout the tournament and from the hands they showed, he didn't mess with KK... he pushed, just like he did in this game if I've caught Lederers remarks correctly. Akenhead flat called, I'm sure Ivey would have pushed (and lost).

The radio coverage is class, especially with hellmuth.
One minute he is talking about the hands they are playing and in mid sentence will give his philosphy on life - brilliant. Haven't seen a tv poker show worth the effort in years but this reminds me of listening to footie games in the old days before the saturation/butchery of that sport. Also the standard of play is as bad as a local £10rb, 5x opens, folding, raising with air when no fold equity, folding in spots getting 12.1, raise/folding with 14 bigs. Superb. |
