hardly a stop and go Ok, I must have misheard the hand. I thought Akenhead flatted out of the blinds with KK then donkbet the flop ie a stop n go. |
|
By:
Ok thanks MissP Defo would have thought with that flat payout there would be more action.

Well my interpretation of the stop n go is that he doesn't have to open shove the flop for it to be a stop n go - merely bet into the preflop raiser, which is what he did.

£760.500k... not bad eh?
|
|
By:
I see what your saying but hes taking an aggressive value line that may have covered more streets if hes not up against AA.To me a stop n go is splitting a pre flop shove into two parts so it goes in on flop.KK is not really a standard stop n go type hand as it doesnt benifit from the play.

They really are doing my head in.

Ok, fair enough.
I'm not in Akenheads league so can't really criticise the play but with the stack sizes, I agree flatting preflop is re-raising pre. I can't remember the flop texture but in a lower stakes online game, I like his flop lead cos you can induce so many bluff shoves on a raggy board from oppos stack size but I question whether he would get such a shove at this level without a hand that connected so I think check-shoving the flop is better. |

I agree, i think check shove is line i would take.
