In the words of Tom Jones, "it is not unusual". The odds often move in the 30 minutes or so before SSN publish their story. Coyle now sits at 1.86-1.9 and I am doing nothing with is at that price. It would be dangerous to lay however, imo. |

Fortunately my bets were matched whilst I was away. I see Coyle was matched at 1.32. £150 K matched on him too. Juicy. I suspect we'll have a bit of movement tonight after the Burnley game one way or the other. I suspect that even if he is interested Burnley will refuse permission for him to speak to Bolton. At the time of the Megson appointment they were refused permission to speak to Chris Coleman and they moved on and then apparently Paul Jewell said he wasn't keen on another relegation battle. Peter Reid was also strongly linked then too. |

Somebody on the fred on the footie forum suggested that Coyle has a clause that allows him to talk with Bolton. Dunno whether that is correct or not.

It would appear possible given the money. How bizarre you would negotiate a get out clause for 'Bolton' lol But I guess Burnley were no hopers at that stage

Good ere innit. When I surfaced a short while ago Curbs was last matched at 2.2 ish!
No need to repeat the articles. Most seem to be on the beeb gossip site. The papers to seem to be relatively consistent, ie Coyle if a deal can be done and if not Curbs. So my plan is just to level the two of those up while not taking mega reds on the rest. |

Another small profit here. I was too happy to lay Coyle early on. Still, the strategy has never let me down yet, and is unlikely to unless the new manager takes post within 24 hours of the market starting.

Small profits are good. Too many people lose by getting greedy and out of their depth and it looks, yet again as if we have been doing much the same thing. A Norfish? Is that a relative of the Garfish? |
