So you will be betting tonight then
The slightly better zebras return for the baltimore game. ![]() |

this looks like a week where a lot of the good teams blow the spreads against a lot of the weaker teams imo
|
|
By:
taken -1 bengals to start with
|
|

Browns +12.0 for me tonight anyway
Very difficult for teams to cover a double-digit spread, especially in divisional matches. Home favourites attempting to cover a spread of between 10.0 - 14.0 have a losing record ATS of 113-124-5 over the last 10 years which is roughly break-even. However if you restrict those matches to divisional match-ups, the record worsens to 39-53-1 which makes a blind bet on the Dog worth a punt every time. |

the Pats -4 against the bills who have Tashard Choice suited up
I like the Bengals to cover And the Redskins to beat the Buccs |
|
By:
fred jackson could be suited up sunday...spiller and jackson will be a nice 1-2 punch when both fit
|

I also like
Titans +12.0 @ Texans for reasons posted above (although I am less confident about this one) 49ers -4.0 @ Jets - seems very low for a team who made a mockery of any West Coast travelling to East Coast problems last year. The 49ers are still a very good team and should have way too much for a sorry-looking Jets team. Jets are without Darrelle Revis as well Bengals -3.0 @ Jaguars - Jags are very poor IMO. Patriots -4.0 @ Bills - just can't see the Pats not covering this having lost the last 2. Also tempted by Seahawks to cover the spread @ Rams and I think the Buccaneers will beat the Redskins too |
|
By:
I have the jags as plum last in the nfl..they are a one man band and even with him they will struggle to win a game...outside of the colts not many teams if any you would back the jaguars to beat
|
|
By:
Like all 4 of them picks...really like the 49ers this week, I think we may see tebow as sanchez is in for a beating and with revis out for the season the jets become vulnerable in the secondary
|
|
By:
54% passing completion 75% passing completion...with and without revis on the field
![]() |
|
By:
yes the Jets could get murdered by the 49ers
|
|
By:
Did nobody else think the 49ers were very poor last week made Ponder look like Joe Montana though i agree the Jets are poor.
|
|
By:
I think the Vikings are underrated and putting something long term together
they have a very underrated D (especially at home) now they have key players back and fit and Ponder was the most accurate QB going into the 49ers game so he is no mug also AP looks better than ever - how is that possible?!! and Harvin is a game changer when he doesnt have migraines. Look out for the Vikings to cause a few upsets imo, especially at home |
|
By:
Jerome Simpson's return from a substance ban will also give Ponder and the Vikings offence plenty of options, he is a legit deep threat, defensive units will have trouble covering AP, Harvin and Simpson, without mentioning the emerging TE talent Kyle Rudolph.
I agree with all the comments concerning the Jets @ the 49ers. I have been against the Jets ever since their perceived, "impressive", week 1 victory. They will have trouble moving the ball against the 49ers D, there has been no evidence of a running game thus far. The 49ers should ground it out against the 28th ranked rushing defence, Daniel Thomas made gains against them last week (bitter because I had traded him away in a fantasy league) !! Gore and co should grab the attentions of a Jets secondary, without Revis (as mentioned), leaving gaps for Davis and the wide receivers corps to exploit. |

*49ers @ the Jets... sleep deprived.
|

Im going against most views here , but fancy all the home teams in the 6pm k/o
Really Like the Bills getting pts Atlants at a TD or lower Lions at 4 Jets getting 4 ( nap ) Texans smash the Titans , anything under 2 TD's is a gift |

Apparently now that Revis is out, Cromartie is the best CB in the NFL
according to........Cromartie ![]() |

not even top 10

I think PP is my number 1 even with Revis Island
Claiborne will be up there as well |

Hi, I've got four plays posted on blogs.
I use ratings to short-list games that are value against the odds on offer. I then narrow it down with research. We'll see how it goes. |

If Mankins and Gronk are out, Pats 1-3 is quite likely

patriots can adapt as good as any team...still think they will find a way to win

Really like Arizona this week against Miami. I actually think Tanehill has played quite well but Arizona defence have been rock solid and think the pricing for this game was all wrong. I had Arizona priced at 1/3 or 2/7 so was very surprised to see them as big as 4/9 or slightly shorter. I may well look at the spreads as thought they could give up the 5.5 points as well.

if reggie bush is limited I dont see how the fins can win this.
|
|
By:
am I missing something or do the Bengals look huge at 1.9?
Jags arent in the same class. I don't understand the price. |
|
By:
That really is bet of the season so far, even if Jags D is underrated and capable to keep them in games. Bengals D isn't the easiest to run against even if stats wise so far they been poor
|
|
By:
also struggling to understand why the Seahawks are favourite
think a big Bengals/Rams double my be the order of the day |
|
By:
Agree on both bets, bengals my best bet off the day fancy overs aswell.
Rams ive taken in an underdog double with the bears. Also hate to bet my own team but like the chiefs and over texans titans. |
|
By:
well Seahawks D has been outstanding vs Cowboys and Packers...I would give them a slight edge in that match up

am I missing something or do the Bengals look huge at 1.9? Jags arent in the same class. I don't understand the price. It looks too obvious...when it looks obvious it scares me...gl fellas but I would stay clear...mo jo will have his way for my fantasy team Seahawks are going to lose today. |

+12 TITANS.....falcons 49ers double evens gl
|

i have waded in on the Bengals. Cant be having this price at all.
Harry talking about fantasy, Forte is questionable so I have got a real dilemma. I have Lamar Miller as backup but obv want Forte in but I risk dropping Miller and then Forte being ruled out on Monday night - tough one! I might see if Reggie Bush is fit later. |
|

bengals up to evens now
![]() is Dalton and AJ Green out? |
|
By:
@d13phe I have only just looked at this game now. I had the game priced 1.66 Bengals vs. 2.66 Jags. This now equally as wrong price as the Arizona game for me. My ELO rankings have both as decent favourites. Have you found out anything? I will be having a decent wedge on the bengals if there aren't any serious injuries.

Thomas got the carries in Bush's absence last week, much to my surprise, how much exposure is Millar likely to get? Not forgetting that he is up against a tough defensive unit. Forte's injury wasn't as bad as first feared, the bears have made noises that they would definitely have him ready by week 5, so every chance that gamesmanship is being applied by the backroom staff, he could figure on Monday evening. From fleaflicker.... Matt Forte (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Monday night against the Cowboys. Forte was limited for the third straight day on Saturday but reportedly "looked good" and is expected to play. Chicago beat writers Brad Biggs and Vaughn McClure, along with teammate Michael Bush, have noted that there's a good shot that Forte suits up. We'd still like to hear a more definite answer before locking him into fantasy lineups, especially since it's a Monday night kickoff. Dallas has been dominant against the pass, but they currently rank No. 19 against the run. That Resistence to the Bengals is a concern, no reason has surfaced, yet?! |
|
By:
there are a few secondary injuries apparently but i think the Bengals will outscore anyway as has been the case this season so far.
|
|
By:
Thanks areyoutalkingto me.
I figured Millar would be more involved as he is averaging nearly 6 yards per carry so far. Forte obv has the better upside though |
|
By:
No worries, I would also have Miller over Thomas, but then I would say that as I traded the latter away last week!

Gronk playing for Pats
Fred Jackson and Spiller both playing for the Bills interesting |
