if it was me I would go for Stephen Jackson
tough to run against the Pats and as you say Spiller seems to get the scoring carries and SJ is the number 1 back in a divisional matchup just my two pennys worth |

Cheers.... I was initially going with the Fred variety of Jackson, but Spiller confuses that situation. Richardson broke out against the skins, though he has to back that up before he figures.

Personally think the seahawks will be harder to run against than the pats, but its a tough choice no matter what player their imo. All 3 players got injuries going to be a bit pot luck, id prob take fred myself.

Cheers Sky, it is a tough one to call, Seahawks giving up an avg. of 3.1 on the ground against the pats 3.3.
I failed to mention that I have Gates, Julio Jones, Brandon Lloyd and Demaryius Thomas catching the ball, also Flacco has already posted a decent score. So i'm obviously hoping that the rb2 position is irrelevant this week. |

Much more excited about the three live games today than last week where I thought that a least one game contained no play-off teams. Class all the way today, nice of the NFL to schedule a Green Bay Packers game at a time where I don't have to wait up till 5am in the morning to see them live. Looking forward to the next 6 hours a lot.

Week 3 picks (why is it, the closer you get to kick off, the less comfortable you feel about your picks?)
49ers (-4) to cover the spread against the Jets. Green Bay (-7) on the handicap against the Saints. Signs that Benson was finding his way in the Green bay system and he goes up against a weak run D this week. Rodgers should excel if Benson gets it done. Arizona S/U against the Fins. The ever impressive Fitzgerald has a decent match up against the Dolphins secondary. The Card's D should be able to pressure Tannehill and have yet to concede a TD on the ground. Doubles and a treble. Tampa S/U against Washington. Griffin III has been rightly lauded and projections are high going into week 4 against the Buc's worst ranked pass defence. Looks great on paper, though you have to consider that Tampa have faced Cam Newton (303 yards, week 1), Eli Manning in a week 2 shootout (510 yards) and Tony Romo (283 yards. week 3). Looks superficial to me at this early stage, also, no one has mentioned that Washington are 31st against the pass. If Tampa establish the run and are able to manage the clock, I can see Griffin III enduring his toughest game to date. Tampa are ranked the best rushing defence and also sit joint second in the defensive interceptions list with 6 picks. Single and a double with Cincinatti. Good luck all. |
