Harry - all about the injuries, look at who they've lost this year.
Rodgers for me is a top 3 QB, he's up there with Brady and Manning, and is there a better receiving corps in the league ? They've had no running game all year. Clay Matthews is a beast and I like their secondary, they can win anywhere if everyone is healthy |
By:
Price probably right here, will be around 15s before play off with...@Bears, @Falcons, @Saints/Eagles...Superbowl
jeamachael finley would have a 1000yds season imo if he was healthy and with Grant an ok running game |
By:
steelcurtain...not sure....saints at 13/2 better option possibly as most people are saying they will go to the nfc west team
Agree horse.could be the best secondary around, dont think their is any outstanding secondary but they could be it...think rodgers is in the 2nd tier of QBs...ravens have a nice receiver corps.GB prob edge it. |
By:
guess its 2 late 4 me 2 get involved in the NFC market anyway now harry will stick with the eagles as my pick

In the first meeting between the Bears and Packers the Pack were MUCH the better side but absolutely killed themselves with them 18 penalties, they had at least one TD and one INT chalked off because of flags.
Mind the Bears look a better side now than they were early in the season. |
By:
Good shout greyhawk, I remember that, wasn't it 160 yards they lost in pens ?
By:
yes horse it was laughable...hestor returned one also, packers completely killed themselves

Packers at 10 to win the NFC - and 18 to win the Superbowl. So they'd be favoured over the Patriots in the Superbowl?
I can't get over the odds for the Eagles and the Packers in comparison to the Bears and Falcons who are as good if not better teams overall. What the Falcons have to do to get respect is beyond me - 8.2 for 4 weeks despite all but securing the #1 seed. I hate going red on any team but these odds look too low. |
By:
Bears as good or better lol...they beat both pack and philly yes but they had homefield...bears are not a better team, the odds suggest most people think the same..i agree atlanta arent getting the respect but any of the top teams can beat them in atlanta...both atlantas toughest road games they lost...they will get homefield.good job as they wouldnt be fancied out of the dome.
By:
I hate to use words like 'deserve', especially in a sport like the nfl, but christ almighty, please dont let the bears get to a superbowl!
Id love to see the packers represent the nfc, a solid defensive outfit with a robot QB, what more do you want. My bets aside, my top five superbowls are still: 1)Pats v Eagles 2)Colts v Saints 3)Steelers v Eagles 4)Pats v Saints 5)Jets v Packers |
By:
prophet - you're not a Ravens fan then ?
I still think Ravens have the ability to make it as AFC reps and their game is no longer built around a solid D choking offences, they move the ball with Rice and Flacco has some targets. For entertainment the Pats would probably gets most peoples vote but I'd love to see Ravens take on Packers |
By:
i like the ravens....ray rice is superb and they have an excellent group of receivers...then you have ngata and suggs....they fly the flag with the colts in the afc for me...rather see them in the superbowl than watching the jets.

rogers has some arm on him, when he is throwing well hes as good as any QB. go packers

By:
Bring on atlanta, pfffffffff. was that supposed to be a no 1 seed,do me a favour.
![]() Bring on seattle [:p] |

Turning point for this team imo was the defeat in new england...took a lot out of that game..they discovered this running game from nowhere.

Why aren't the Pack favs?
How good was last night, on cloud 9. Absolutely monster performance. Now you know why we were all so frustrated with the silly losses, we knew the talent they have (although probably not the depth to it) and at last it's there on a play by play basis. GPG |
By:
Too right CJ......last nights offensive performance was what a lot of people thought they could play like on a pretty regular basis coming into the season......and doing it without the freak that is Finley
![]() Just watching it for the second time now ![]() |
By:
That was in answer to the silly losses and talent bit.
By:
Matched at 3.3 to win it all

I still think that's value. The PATS have had their limitations exposed tonight, even if they somehow get through this. (Which they won't).
Although didn't that pitch at Soldier Field look horrible? I'm sure the Bears ground staff will be ploughing it up further this week. Hopefully our passing outfit can keep their feet. |
By:
early lead for the packers and its packers in the superbowl...need to start well
By:
The team i didn't want to play all along was Chicago at Soldierfield.
By:
Now 3.
By:
agree grayhawk..still think the packers can get it done...dont think the bears are built to play catch up..crucial starting fast
By:
How are the Packers shorter than the Steelers?!
Surely that's a scratch - so at Chicago or at home to New York???! |
By:
Agreed, Bears are in a position to give us a game just because the two sides know each other so well. Throw in a 'big game & derby atmosphere' and it evens things out talent wise. They didn't really have a game tonight so hopefully they'll be a bit soft whereas the Pack have been in this play-off format since December!
Seriously though none of us will be laying off any green going into a Conference game against Cutler and co. will we? Keep Forte quiet, we'll win. |
By:
No can't lay off until the big show if they get there......wish next week was here already
![]() |
By:
real moaner it dont really matter who is at home or not..jets are going to be hard to beat imo..
By:
agree cj...tramon and woodson looking superb.i can see a packer player really hurting cutler and he will be picked...what worries me is the field.a lot of defenders can slip.all it takes...pack need to stop any big kick off returns...you get a lead and let cutler chase a game.that is when he will blow up
By:
I would love to see Moaner's book on the Pack, must look like RBS's balance sheet.
By:
ive never seen anyone so against the packers |
By:
They could be in Dallas after receiving the Lombardi and Moaner still wouldn't fancy them
![]() We can all have a blind spot about certain teams sometimes to be fair though. |
By:
Chicago are now longer than they were after they got through!
I'm floored that the Packers are favourites, but it's sure been a killing for the more knowledgable fans then who have backed GB. |
By:
yes it has moaner
[:p] |
By:
Maybe it's just me! I'll admit it sounds like a broken record so absolutely, I'm wrong.
The truth is guys, I have no less green on GB than anyone else as I level up before the playoffs. From here, I would go GB 3.5, NYJ 5.5, Pittsburgh 3, Chicago 5. I might be OTT but how are the Steelers 3.6 and the Jets 4.6??? |
By:
i think the jets and steelers are very evenly matched
