I had the packers to beat the patriots a few weeks ago...then rodgers went down and didnt think they had a chance.....very bl last night, that last play was hard to watch, they were all walking in slow motion
...thought they were the best team all round last night, start of the 4th was key,if they had went in for the TD for a 10pt lead i think they would of done it...brady got lucky 3 times, now i know why he hasnt had any picks...now im convinced the packers would of won with arron....think we saw last night why they were favs for the superbowl |

Think you were spot on Harry, I've only just watched it but was yelling at the TV 'FFS hurry up and do something lol! That was still a great performance and proves to doubters that the Packers are no way average or overrated, those comments now look retarded. When a team can dominate the Pats on the road with 2nd string QB, TE, RB and a whole host of others out it does make you wonder how far they might've gone with a bit more fortune on their side.
GB, still have the play-offs in there own hands which is a fortunate position to be in and nobody will envy playing them if they make it. When somebody will get a NFC West team and the other gets the Packers or Giants it's going to be very hard to take! |

Keep the faith CJ...after seeing the last few games i wasnt confident in them making it,i dont think chicago are certs tonight,i know the giants gave them a good hammering(vikings but you saw last night what the giants can do to good teams even tho the eagles eventually won..not seen any team news, next post will tell me AP is out
![]() I lost count how many times GB made 3rd downs with their RB diving over a defender lol,,,worked everytime.really hard to say who has the best D,,i thought chicago,i think we may of seen them last night...impressive,hope they get into the playoffs. |

BTW if they win out are they in?
By:
Yes they are Harry

what is it that the packers will have over tampa and giants...obv if they beat giants they will finish level.
Packers have a lot to thank desean jackson for ...i do think they will win their final 2 games if they can get rodgers back |
By:
Strength of Victory over Bucs so they can thank the Lions for that
By:
havent got a clue who wins the superbowl but im going for an NFC team
By:
Packers also hold SoV over Giants if it comes to a 3-way tie
By:
As strange as it sounds, this loss could reignite our season
By:
may not be a bad thing as a wildcard,,,you may get frisco or the rams
![]() |
By:
cant see them beating the giants tbh
even with rodgers |
By:
well i dont trust coughlin...i can see the packers beating them with arron, dont think they win without him...Giants despite the loss are no mugs
By:
i backed the giants yersterday after their loss for the SB
they seem to excel in crunch games |
By:
most QBs are good when they are given time..dont trust eli when he is rushed.2 many picks,O line staying fit is crucial for the Giants...30/1,packers look the better option in terms of value, chicago will have things wrapped up so packers will have an easy game,so it comes down to the giants and they have a slight advantage being at home...like both these teams over atlanta who have lost only 2

never in doubt,,bring on the bears

win against Bears and probably Bears (or Eagles) in the WC round...looking good for pack
Chargers harry [;)] ![]() |
By:
chargers are shocking....poor on the road..kansas are not even being looked at..surely they cant do any damage in the playoffs
By:
less than 10% of chiefs roster a play off game? so no, but that running game, hot Cassel, playmakers on D...W next week and Jets home in WC round...
By:
well jets at home isnt a bad game
By:
indeed, close one...Pats, Steelers, Ravens, Colts different level however
By:
eagles,packers,atlanta,saints....8 teams,anyone could win it
By:
yeah, Steelers need that bye imo
By:
What a night! To tear that Giants team apart was some performance. The Pack even running the ball with some confidence now which bodes well.
If the Pack and Eagles win out you've got to be confident GB will knock over the Bears. Average and overrated indeed. PMSL ![]() |

In Rodgers we Believe

By:
The ability to score points for fun without a big name RB shows how good their attack is...looks like they can get by with the running game they have,as long as they are getting good blocking and setting up screens well they will be ok,great game from rodgers.
By:
I'd be confident of green bay beating any other nfc team ,they aren't dependent on being at home either, price is massive as they'll open up the bears and show their secondary up for what it is

WTF Giants?
I lost a ... F O R T U N E ![]() |

Anyone else think the Bears price for the Superbowl is crazy?
In all likelihood, even if they defeat Chicago on Sunday then they would need to win AT Chicago (Lost Already), Philly and Atlanta (Again, lost already) to get to the Superbowl. Whilst if Chicago (who are a similarly crazy price) can defeat the Packers, they likely won't even make the playoffs. Are they this week's San Diego? |
By:
I know which one out of Chicago and GB can put it up to the likes of Atlanta, New England and Philly on the road and potentially win a SB, and it ain't the division winner.
I think the odds reflect the general consensus that the Bears are ordinary, whereas GB are extremely dangerous. |
By:
The same Bears who have beaten Green Bay and Philly this year and who are strong candidates to get the #2 seed and only need to go on the road to an Atlanta side who similarly are hugely underrated?
And even if the Packers are a dangerous side, lower than 20 for a side who need to win 3 tough away games to get to the Superbowl? That's tiny. |
By:
Giants played on the road to win the superbowl a few years ago,its not that big a deal mate, home ground advantage is a nice to have but not an essential.I tipped up the packers for the bowl at the start of the year but had to think their poor start and injuries would scupper them but they now look like the team i thought they'd be.Really should hve beaten atlanta in the dome so i'm not worried about them and they're 7/1 thats an insane price.
By:
The Bears won a close match up were very fortunate to do so imo. That game could've been so different had GB had a 3rd Qtr TD stood which would've made it 17-7. I doubt GB will get 18 flags against them ever again, let alone next week.
We'll see next week whether the Bears are a match for GB. If you think 20s is tiny, they'll be 11.0 after next week. |
By:
I dont think home advantage makes much difference to some teams..i think philly and the packers are 2 teams who dont need to play at home although as lockyer pointed out its nice to play at home..couldnt see chicago winning in the dome but could see any of the other teams doing so...REALMOANER...AT Chicago (Lost Already), Philly and Atlanta (Again, lost already) they were close games...they won in philly.

Giants look done to me - that loss last week has demorilised them, they never looked in it last night, you can't turn the thing over 6 times and win.
Wouldn't surprise me to see them go down in DC next week |
By:
i do think the packers will give the bears a good thrashing...the jets drove down field v the bears with relative ease...packers will bring more heat to cutler than the pathetic effort the jets brought.

packers 10.0 eagles 3.6 for the NFC which is the value ?

As someone who is on the Pack already I think I'd prefer a trip to Soldier Field than Lincoln Field in wildcard weekend, but their week 17 game is no penalty kick

By:
im on the packers and would like chicago....cut errors out and you beat chicago.i know chicago won the 1st meeting, doesnt matter, chicago have lost to seattle and washington at home, its not a fortress.the way the packers have been playing in the last 2 weeks has been top draw, good mix on offence,im very impressed.
