Harry.....Tramon Williams has been playing at a pro bowl level all season. |

Confidence growing packers fans as we approach kick off?

If the Packers had one half-decent running back they would be nearly odds-on for the Superbowl

Bears do look much improved from earlier in season. |

Packers make too many errors to be a serious contender and they have no running game
|
|
By:
That's rubbish. They are very much serious contenders. I wouldn't confidently take any side to beat GB no matter where they played.
The falcons are superb at home. ATL made the big plays last night and deservedly won, (the strip of Rodgers on the QB sneak, the Turner TD on 4th down, and the final KO return) had any one of these not happened they would've probably lost. That was some performance by GB given their missing personnel. GB's running game can only improve from that, they have a few weeks to work on it. Come the play-offs GB can trouble anyone even with a depleted side. |

i will be taking the packers if they visit atlanta again in the playoffs...

Agree with everything CJ has said.
I would have no qualms returning to Atlanta.....wouldn't have said that before last nights game. |

You have every right to disagree with me. The packers are a good side. They have poor discipline though and not sure how the running game will get better.
I am entitled to my opinion and that is the fact that when they come to the big games they seem to beat themselves. Remember last years playoffs! |
|
By:
Sorry d13phe, of coures your opinion is valid. Apologies for calling it rubbish.
I was eluding to the fact that their running game can't possibly get worse than last night. Hopefully new pick-up Nance will get a chance, he looked good in the pre-season for ATL. |

Remember last years playoffs! d13phe.....i'm not being pedantic and i'm not trying to start an argument but you say remember last years play-offs. The Packers didn't BEAT THEMSELVES in last years play-offs.....against Arizona Rodgers was picked off on his first throw of the game after which he and his receivers were excellent for the remainder bar one throw late on where he overthrew Jennings when he had him open for the game winner. The reason they were beaten was an inability of a depleted secondary to handle Kurt warner and his receivers...hardly beating themselves, wouldn't you say. In fact the final nail in their coffin was the Zebra's missing a helmet to helmet on Rodgers in the stripping of the ball which led to the winning TD.....but we won't go into that ![]() |

you can see each week in the NFL that anything can happen...to rule a team out like the packers just because they lost out in the last minute of the game is silly....it was one of them games where the last team to have the ball was going to win...next time it maybe the packers....dont think it matters who has homefield if they meet again..nothing between them.
|
|
By:
NFC is so tight though that any more slip ups and they mightn't even make the Playoffs
They were unlucky last night what with the fumble on 1yd line and then Gonzalez 4th down conversion which wasn't I'd fancy them to beat the Falcons again but they still have to get there. Very bad result for them last night in Chicago |
|
By:
still favs for the division...pats and jets will have a say in this division...and chicago@packers week 16 will decide it
