What was the point of throwing it away? Should have just looped it up seeing as it's only a pat attempt.

It's one of those match-ups that I don't look at stats for ND in all honesty and similar to Bruins/Pens or Flames/Hawks that always seem to have a bad blood spill over meaning the power play count can be a lottery and throw stats out of the window.
Rather go on a gut feeling for this one and if Boyle & Thornton can't galvanise Sharks to use this game as a stepping stone and turn the corner then they may as well give up. It's home ice form that's killed Sharks lately though and road form isn't bad although as inconsistent as we've become used to , as you know i've swerved any involvement in Sharks games for months now as they're guessing games so no bet for me tonight , hunch that Sharks will get at least a point though. Good luck ![]() |

Ty once again, Hayden. I appreciate your views.

I got the feeling as well Sharks get something there. I was shaky and not touch of it either. Niemi starting not Niittymaki as it was planned (dont have a clue why they changed it).
DAL leading 3-0 but should lead at least by 5 goals. Theodore has been absolute Wild's best player tonight. Langenbrunner should have also scored with his multiple chances. |
|
By:
As soon as I gave a credit to Theodore he missed saving with no mask at all. DAL 4-0.

It's Hiller 1 Sharks 0 at the moment
![]() |
|
By:
Indeed. Amazing stuff. Such a multiple chances Sharks have created with none of goals. All they have to do is keep on pushing but its not easy to score as Hiller is hotter than hell at the moment. Reminds me Howard yesterday.

|
By:
Glad I didn't get involved in this game with a bet , would have frustrated the hell out of me tbh
|
|
By:
Me either. However, its still interesting and kind of relaxing for a change just watching the game. Always nice job to make notes etc. thinking it will pay something back in the future.

One notable thing is Sharks are not showing any frustration with stupid penalties even though they are under losing streak. They just took one penalty this game late 3rd and last game they did not take them at all.
![]() |
|
By:
And now they did..just a couple of mins later I wrote it down.[;)]
As a captain Thornton should know it not to take any stupid penalty at own attack zone..thats frustration, isnt it? |
|
By:
Ryan isnt Selanne who would have scored onetimer in that situation no doubt about it.

Think with Sharks even if they qualify for the play-offs by sneaking into 8th place they will still be respected , the fact they would be on the road for the extra game wouldn't really be a disadvantage to the and you never can tell they could be playing like their old selves in a few months
|
|
By:
I agree. Still plenty of regular season left to get rid off the inconsistent way to play. They did not do anything wrong tonight either except score a goal or two. They were also starting to show frustration late in the last period but thats not a miracle as Ducks/Hiller had five (and now then six) straigt periods managed to keep the goal clean.
Carlyle controlled the game in 3rd nicely as he benched some players instead of hot players when they had to protect their lead. Fe. Selanne did not even play pp there at all. Very convincing win for them. But they cant count on Hiller always even though he has two consecutive shutouts now..I guess its new low scoring meeting again as they meet Blues & Halak next at home. CU later the evening again! [;)] |

I got the NFL a million miles wrong as well last night - you had the Devils game spot on ND, well done
![]() Early start in the morning so can't watch tonight, so just the usual bet 7/5 tonightAll the best lads ![]() |
|
By:
Ty, Drew. Just a combination of luck, experience & instict but that's history now..
![]() Your usual bet sounds pretty alright this time to me. I'm a bit scared the fact Leafs have scored 14 goals in the last 2 games. Kings finally managed to win at home last time after losing 4 straight at home ice. This game looks like going to over game. What makes it even perfect is a knowledge Leafs' back-up goalie Reimer is their starter tonight. I was thinking another one decent bet at first on Pens v Bruins game. It was some reaction in the market as it was found out Malkin & Orpik might be sick after did not skate at their practice. They have already been unbalanced as Crosby has been out. However, Bruins have a divisional game against Sens already tomorrow which makes this bet vulnerable. I guess Rask starts tonight instead of Thomas because of that. Bruins won their 1st meeting this season at Pit which is also a bad sign. It has been 5 seasons already since they have won both awaygames against Pens last time (and that Pens was the whole different team then). What do you think, Hayden about this game? ![]() |
|
By:
Gone for Coyotes against the Blues tonight. Bryzgalov should be back in net tonight which is a plus he's missed a lot of games for phoenix recently. St louis have a few players missing and have lost three on the spin.
Also have to take on the Pens. They badly miss crosby and iv been really impressed with the Bruins this season. Physical team with lots of class. M/L Double Coyotes and Bruins. |

Evening ND
Fascinating game in prospect with one word of caution , it's the first time Savard has faced Penguins since the famous Cooke incident that put MS out for 23 games so consequently it'll be an emotional night that may stoke up some outstanding scores still to settle , I mention all that only for the potential penalty count as both teams need to keep their heads , knowing how Cooke plays the game he won't give a toss anyway and play his normal brutal game. As for the game itself it's probably now self explanatory why Pens lost so badly at home to Wild on Sat with this game looming and missing golden boy but that said the crowd will play an important part tonight for Pens , they're the most fickle crowd in the NHL for me and it wasn't any different at the Igloo tbh , as for Bruins they will be gutted losing that massive div game in Montreal on Sat and losing the divisional leadership , they're in a really tough schedule of 5 games in 8 days at the moment including 2 divisional & 3 big conference battles. Tough call but if the crowd are roaring the Pens may edge it even without Sid , think they were terrified at the thought of losing another MVP in the Wild game such was the lack of intensity. Anyone who doesn't remember the Cooke foul on Savard... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z1vJrIAg-0 Ouch Good luck guys ![]() |

By:
The odds for Pens just kept on rise up so I took them to win in regulation the 1st game of tonight.
Another bets are on LAK v TOR where I had straight Kings win, Kings -1,5 and O5,5. GL, mates! |
|
By:
Great 1st period with lot of chances in both. Good intensivity. I like how Pens are playing after a big & disapponted home loss. The puck really moves by them. They killed excellent both penalties. U5.0 the most likely as both goalies are not going to give any rebounds. I think the special units are THE thing which gives the edge here & Pens are the better one in that areas at the moment. However, how long time it's going to last as we see the 1st goal of the game means a lot & which one of teams get it. Great game we are watching anyway!

Pens 1-0

It was a kind of easy goal Rask should have get it. Bruins have been better in the 2nd but still 0-1 down.
|
|
By:
Letang 2-0
![]() |
|
By:
Perfect! If Bruins can't reduce by a goal in the 2nd they will concentrate for tomorrow's div game against Sens in the 3rd.
|
|
By:
Really tough time for Bruins this , that game last Sat when 2 goals ahead with 3 mins to go against Div rivals and then losing must be very hard to take tbh , if they do lose tonight they really need a win tomorrow in a now absolutely crucial game for them.
|
|
By:
I must still give Bruins some credit they are keep on pushing in every shift. Even though they were 1-man down they created the best score chances in the game for them. Pens have usually improved this season after a lousy game. This night would not make it any different by so far.
|
|
By:
2-2 amazing trading game , Pens hit 1.03 in regulation and bookies all over the place with those 2 quick goals
![]() |
|
By:
Yes it is. I lost the picture as well for a 45sec..Bruins took 12sec to score those 2 goals & I did not see them alive.
![]() |
|
By:
Amazing stuff. I was waiting them to get frustrated but nope..Bruins have played well the whole game even as they were 0-2 down and then took momentum in 12sec reducing the game. They only need one pp chance after that to score again and the empty netter was just a seal.
I was thinking to try them with odds 31 (regulation win) as they were down by 0-2 but I was too shy to try it.. ![]() |
|
By:
Well thankfully certain bookmakers were totally asleep there tbh , they probably know who they are
![]() |

which bookies are you using in play hayden
