Don't be disappointed in the Redwings tonight , they had to peak for massive games last Friday & Saturday so they've left their A game and their legs in Vancouver

Too difficult tbh and have to remember it's nothing to do with anything that happens before you qualify providing you get there , play-offs require a different mentality and it's about the MVP types stepping it up , the usual suspects will be thereabouts in Pens , maybe Wings and certainly Canucks with their ability to apply a winning road strategy when required , that's crucial in the play-offs as you're unlikely to win all your home ice.
Kings are young and fearless and will win it in the next 3 years one would think but not keen on Caps chances with their set up more suited to flat track bullying rather than winning a 7 match series

Well done, Clarkz. It was a nice double and you took it home even though Bryzgalov did not play. Happy

Yep, Leafs has been great in the 2nd, Harry. Take a look at the shots there.

Cheers ND. Two late comeback wins always nice. Great performance by Boston never gave up. Never mind about Bryzgalov though Labarbera made a good save with one second left for the win!

Had a fancy for the leafs beforehand had been playing well on the road and the kings were struggling at home (aftertiming i know) but cant trust backing the leafs with anyones money.

Well done clark and good calls , went to bed halfway through the Kings game and just watched the highlights.

Think it's a really good schedule tonight with some intriguing games   Love

Evening lads

The leafs did me proud again last night at 7/5 but cannot be a bet to lose the 1st at a best priced 5/4 tonight.  In fact, if they are to get anything against the in-and-out Sharks they may be best putting their efforts into getting off to a flyer - perhaps 29/10 is too big?

Elsewhere my experiment with ties in Carolina matches may hit the mark again tonight when Calgary visit.  Looks certain to be close, as does the game in Boston imo, may go 60.

Really tough set of games - also going to try the game in Nashville finishing in stalemate at 60 minutes.

All the best Grin

Nobody watching tonight?

Its pretty nauseating watching Ottawa at Boston for at least 3 reasons....

Ottawa look completely invertebrate
The commentary from the Boston 'homers' is, and always has been going back 18 or so years, the most one-eyed in ALL of sport
One of my bets is losing Devil

Anyone watch the 1st in Nashville?  Minnesota are a really serious team and I can't see them losing from here in 60.  Koivu's goal very classy.

So after all my big talk I'm off to bed Cool I have a larger than normal bet on Toronto to WIN the 1st period tonight - wish me look, hoping I've hustled the bookie!!!

GL & sweet dreams, Drew.. [;)]

Wild can make it difficult yes and Theodore's been great lately. However, they are in the middle of the heavy schedule which can also make them look like even worse they really are. M.Koivu is definitely the leader of the gang there doing rare mistakes (every coach's wet dream).

Sharks should be hungry tonight after some losses (was it 3 or something in a row?) so I think you have a perfect change to succee with your bet, Drew..

It's been fantastic night by so far..took already Coyotes & Bruins plus some nice catch on livebetting. Very big (I mean very!) was very near but Poulin made a big save in dying seconds in 3rd against Canucks. I'm sure this would have gone in 9 out 10 tries but this was not that time. Anyway, I'm pleased so far. Like Stones sing "You Can't Always Get What You Want". It's a very good point, isn't it? Laugh

Just checking the bets again I made I had one treble correct with Coyotes/BOS ml/VAN ml. I thought at first to have straight Canucks win also there and was hoping their loss shootout recently. I guess I'm too tired not to even remember my bets tonight. This is a 1st time I made this kind of mistake but I don't mind it.

What do you think is there still gas left on Leafs tank they could take something for Sharks? Coyotes won both b2b road games so why not Leafs do the same thing? They have besides found the way to score lately(17 goals in regulation time in the last 3 games).

Wow, that's really something. The uphill which might be too tough to climb for them. Sharks must be hungry after 3 losses. They played very good last time at Honda Center but did not score because Hiller was excellent on that night.

They reminded to me Bruins' play against Pens last night. Only difference of course was Bruins managed to score very late in 3rd and when they started to do that all the good things happened & the flow kept on going tonight (even though I don't count on Sens nowadays before mr.Murray really start to act there and make some changes they absolutely need).

Yep, the whole 1st line of Sharks has been rusty lately. I don't think so Leafs' backup goalie Reimer can play at the same level all the time either. Besides he also played yesterday and I'm sure Sharks will shoot on him lots more than Kings did. I dont mind Heatley scoring onetimer or two there as well.. Happy

Woken up a bit gutted - see FT in SJ as 4-2 and the leafs lose 1st again Cry

Maybe it was the night to have just backed the Leafs outright, I had a feeling for them for whatever reason.  The game in Carolina going the distance softened the blow, could have been a tasty double of system bets at 5/4 and 10/3.  We'll have another go tonight.  You would think I could see the future the way I predicted what would happen in Nashville CryLaugh

One of my better decisions not to get involved in Sharks games this season tbh , whatever is going to happen next with TM surely starting to feel the heat soon , they're now rock bottom of a congested Pacific division , the GM will be as unhappy and confused as the fans at the moment.

You did well though drew and you can't get everything right , those ties are a lovely price when you can hit them  Cool

Was wondering if any of the regular posters watches/follows british ice hockey? If in fact any of you live in britain! Iv been watching Coventry Blaze for ten years now great fun to watch and all the players are very accessible drinking in the bar with fans post game. Decent standard as well a lot are former AHL players quite a few ex NHLs also.
