Lovely hurling! The ghost of Arles Kilnaskully well and truly laid to rest today.
Keen Leader, anytime you want a go on my missus, just PM me. |
By:
excellent k.l....ffs ozy u never said that to me when i tipped ye a 7/2 and 11/4 winners......
By:
Wow!
keen leader tips it up as a very serious price rick. And I have little doubt but that the odds compilers were/are aware of this thread. Also, there would have been unusual betting interest with money coming for Rathdowney. Lots of Red Flags on the bet but kl's selection was only marginally cut from 7/4 to 13/8 pre-match !! Well done, keen leader. |
By:
earlier on the ht ft price was 4-1 so powers took a hit.
great tipping and well done keen leader. |
By:
ht ft was in to 11/4 today, anyone having problems with PP site now?

Have PP settled your HT/FT bet yet? My straight bet and H'cap bet settled but not the ht/ft bet. Presumably waiting for confirmation of HT result by carrier pigeon from Laois.

By:
I did my bets with Boyles OZ .also had rathdowney in a double with wise dan in the breeders cup mile last night. ..as Boret would say veery niceeee.

Job done. Good stuff, KL. |

"Anaglogs Daughter 20 Jun 11 15:20
Has Keen Leader still got his Laois Managers job..." "TradeFair 20 Jun 11 19:39 Goalpost in the RP should ask Keen Leader to do a column every week. It would make a nice change. They should at least run a story on the gamble landed". "Murphys Stroke 20 Jun 11 20:22 I doubt they will tradefair since nearly all of their so called experts were going the other way. By the way well done KL on probably the best bit of gambling advice I have ever seen on this forum". The above is an excerpt from KL's legendary "time to take advantage of a major pricing mistake" thread. This thread already fits into that same category imvho. "Lovely hurling ! and yes "The Ghost of Arles Kilnaskully are well and truly laid to rest today". |
By:
But PP still haven't paid out half time/full time jesus christ pay us ye miserable bastards
By:
no bet today.
By:
No bet - WTF. I already told the girl in the office next door I'd bring her out to lunch on the strength of today's tip. I can't exactly put it on the wife's credit card!
By:
I reckon Paddy Powderpuffs saw the thread, reckoned "we know our stuff" better than KL, and got their whole smacked. I bunged a couple of tonne on it on friday, forgot all about it the weekend, came back and there was a few more tonne lying there. I owe you a few pints if I ever bump into you Keen Leader. Well done.
By:
One would imagine that it would take very little to move the price in these markets, but as with Arles Kilnaskully the price stood firm for quite a long time. I was surprised.
By:
Thanks again KL
Losses on Arles recouped with a wee bit of interest. I spread a few hundred across various shops who were top price, only one nervous lassie rang up about it. Surprised the price held. |
By:
Cheers KL. Was over in Liverpool for the match the weekend, told the lads about this tip so we had £200 between us on the HT/FT in a double with Suarez to score @6/5. Superb stuff!!
By:
I didn't back it and felt vindicated pre-match given that the Rathdowney price pre-tip, despite the red flags and the money, hadn't contracted to any significant degree.
By:
Nice to hear you jumped on the bandwagon Kiddo..have to say i miss your betting special thread there was a few nice ones today in PP including 2double prices at wolves and monmore also West brom to win tonight at evens max 200.

By:
Yes frank, that Specials thread was very informative and fair dues to kiddo for pushing it. Should try bringing it back under a less obvious title.
By:
I think you talked yourself out of the bet Reb..but at least your honest m8

By:
It was close, frank. I considered having a small bet on it, even at 13/8 shortly before throw in, but decided to let it go.
