France 7/4 to beat Eng seems a fair price to me - been cac the last 2 weeks granted but surely Lievremont will get his head out of his @ss for the team selection in this one!

Brilliant Catch me if u can LaughLaugh....... BJG right 7/4 france to beat england great price but can France put the Lievremont troubles behind them and finally put up a performance that you would expect from the team down on paper .....Worries me that it s becoming similar to the carry on of their soccer team at the last world cup with the coach dominici  i think ?? and that all ended in tears .....
I d just love to see those 3 pricks  Ashton , Armitage and Hartley knocked out ...... If Ireland get through to the semi s and its against england i m worried i m going to smash the telly hitting those 3 pricks DevilDevilDevil

Surely Tindall and Haskell are pr1cks too? Every chance Englands anti rugby will take them to the final though i reckon.
By:

i don t mind Tindall  ......The 3 i mentioned by all accounts have a reputation for constantly  mouthing comments at opposition players whenever they are playing be it club or international ...

Best of Irish luck (you B*stards), though really hope you lose!

But if you are lucky enough to win, I and my compatriots, plus the Scots, and most of the rest of the civilise world are with you next weekend- all the way to the final and beyond (and you'll pick up the Kermits and the Aussies en route....)

ABE (Anyone But England)

Cheers and hope it's a great game tomorrow.

How pathetic have Ireland been?

Aimless kicking down the middle, missed tackles galore, zero intensity.

O'Gara absolutely shambolic. Cry

That's a load of BS toby. They simply weren't even close to being the better team. A masterclass from the Welsh and they deserve all the plaudits.

Only saw the last 20 minutes , Wales well on top what I saw .  Dont mind being beaten by Wales , they have been playing well .  Thought the odds were slightly skew before the match , but its hard to bet against your own .  Well done Wales , can make final on what I saw for 20 minutes .

And well done the lads , gave us a great month or so when we gave them no chance pre tournament .

Listening to the guys in the RTE studio the general consensus was that Wales ripped up the form book?, I for one was petrified of meeting Wales, couldn't see where the form book was been ripped up? two very closely matched teams coming into todays game.
Wales might not have beaten S.Africa but they should have, dominating the game, arguably a performance on a par with Irelands victory over the Aussies.
I seem to remember Wales beating us a few months ago in the 6 nations albeit a controversial try, more a technicality than actual cheating.
There seemed to be unanimous joy allover the country when it became obvious after the Australian victory we would almost certainly be meeting Wales instead of Southern hemisphere opponent for a place in the Semi's, cue book your hotel rooms its just a formality, Ireland would never have a better opportunity to make the last four a stepping stone to the final proper.
Wales beat us today and you'd swear it was one of the biggest shocks in Rugby World Cup history, the over confidence on the build up to todays game was so strong from the man on the street right through virtually the whole media circus you could almost reach out and touch it, even the players seemed quitely confident when interviewed.
One thing about this little country of ours we really do love to build ourselves up for a fall, here is one individual who kept his feet firmly on the ground, so much easier to deal with the blow when you afford your opponents the respect that they deserve.

This is embarassing for England. There passing and handling is awful when they have chances and their tackling since the first 5 minutes has been pathetic

They have had their chances, early in the game the line out near the French line and they lose it and then missed passes and bad handling when on the attack. Their tackling was pathetic on the 1st try.

however if they don't totally cut out the errors it's over

ShockedShockedJust watched the highlights programme on todays game .... I thought Brent Popes analysis was an embarresment ...... I m not into the blame game for todays defeat but he once again showed his love in he has for all things Leinster , so much so that he blames O Gara for Mike Phillips try and keith earls for the last try ....... Now we all know that he fancies the arse off gordan darcy and would only love to give him one if he could but to blame o gara for what was clearly darcys mistake ShockedShocked......i have great admiration for darcy battled back from having an operation in the summer and played well through the tournamnet considering the injuries he was carrying  so i m not having a go at him .....and how he blames earls for the last try when the first rule for a winger at any level is to always stay out and don t come in , in defence .....according to pope no fault of healy , kearney or reddan ShockedShocked....I know he comes accross as a nice fella but to me he s a bluffer

and just to clarify for any viewers out there ( because he was name dropping again talking to his former all black colleagues during the week  ) ......BRENT POPE NEVER PLAYED FOR NEW ZEALAND .....

Anyway we can go on about o gara underperforming and the other things that went wrong but as i said i don t want to get into the blame game . I just felt it was disapointing we couldn t kick on when we got back to 10 all ....
i think the  lyrics to the  closing music to the show summed it up   "adele " " we could have had it all SadSad

Earls was poo try apart dingle. He had basic knock on at the start which caused turn over and Welsh first try and what he was at for third try I'll never know, you gotta make the fecking tackle regardless

The following needs to happen for the 6 nations.

- Strauss in as hooker.
- switch ferris to 2nd row to replace O'Callaghan
- O'Brien back to 6
- Bowe to midfield.
