Georgians even bein backed to win the game now
![]() Now onto the serious stuff, the dark horses of the whole tournament imo (have had a small nibble in the OR market just incase!, main bet is to qualify for the Quarter Finals) Samoa: 15 Paul Williams, 14 Sailosi Tagicakibau, 13 George Pisi, 12 Seilala Mapusua, 11 Alesani Tuilagi, 10 Tusi Pisi, 9 Kahn Fotuali'i, 8 George Stowers, 7 Maurie Faasavalu, 6 Taiasina Tuifua, 5 Kane Thompson, 4 Daniel Leo, 3 Anthony Perenise, 2 Mahonri Schwalger (capt), 1 Sakaria Taulafo. Replacements: 16 Ti'i Paulo, 17 Census Johnston, 18 Joe Tekori, 19 Ofisa Treviranus, 20 Junior Poluleuligaga, 21 Eliota Sapolu Fuimaono, 22 Tasesa Lavea. Namibia: 15 Chrysander Botha, 14 Danie Dames, 13 Danie van Wyk, 12 Piet van Zyl, 11 Llewellyn Winkler, 10 Theuns Kotze, 9 Eugene Jantjies, 8 Pieter Jan van Lill, 7 Jacques Burger (capt), 6 Jacques Nieuwenhuis; 5 Henk Franken, 4 Heinz Koll, 3 Raoul Larson, 2 Hugo Horn, 1 Johnnie Redelinghuys. Replacements: 16 Bertus O'Callaghan, 17 Jane du Toit, 18 Nico Esterhuyse, 19 Rohan Kitshoff, 20 Ryan de la Harpe, 21 Darryl de la Harpe, 22 TC Losper Samoa have named an extremely strong team from 1 to 22, even if they make some changes when they are clear with the Wales game in mind, the subs are nt gonna weaken the team. Prob one of the best 3/4 backlines in the whole tournament and are solid all over the field. Namibia have 12 of the starting team from the Fiji game starting again here after a short turnaround, they gave it everything in that game but looked extremely poor for the most part and samoa are a much better team than Fiji I think we could have the first fav to cover the handicap here - with decent conditions, i think Samoa win by 50 Samoa -30 10/11 (29 at Corals for those with useable Acc's!) |

Why are Samoa 3-1 to beat Wales? Have they picked up injuries after the game or something
|
|
By:
Nope, were that before last night
Massive pice i think |
|
By:
Still 3s with PP and Laddies-think the value on the caps is Samoa +9 and Fiji v Boks + 22, nice 3/1 double.

tomorrows game is a headscratcher - fancy NZ to put up a big score and win by 70 and cover the cap but nt gonna play - will keep the powder dry till Saturday

agree BJG ....there was 53 available earlier with ladbrokes now 55 ....54 seems to be the best .... japan only have 4 starters from the france match that they played so well in so i imagine that this is pretty much a japan second team .... many of the new zealand team looking to impress ...can see muliana , kanuai , jane and co racking up a good few ......only drawback once again is that its an evening game and the weather forecast isn t great which makes it more difficult to wrack up a score ........ think its 9 - 1 to the + backers so far ..... only your beloved samoa managed to cover the - [;)][;)].........
Either way just think new zealand can cover the handicap so going backing them -54 |
|
By:
Henry even now probably only has 10 nailed on starters for the French match. A lot of the run out team tomorrow still have notions of forcing their way into his starting XV. I'm expecting big efforts from 9 - 15 and the pack to feed them quality ball from the set pieces. I've taken them - 57.5 on here.

Anyone but Australia:
Ireland inundated with support from locals AUCKLAND: It will be anyone but Australia when Ireland soaks up the majority of the 'neutral' New Zealand support for their World Cup showdown at Auckland's Eden Park on Saturday. Boos greeted the Wallabies, and particularly their 'public enemy number one' flyhalf Quade Cooper, for their tournament opener with Italy at Auckland's North Harbour last Sunday, and Robbie Deans's team can expect more of the same vitriol this weekend. Irish hooker Rory Best said his team have been inundated with support from the locals ahead of their Pool C game with the Wallabies. "Throughout our stay in New Zealand we've had a lot of support for this game, not just from the Irish but it seems for whatever reason a lot of Kiwis will be supporting us tomorrow night," Best said on Friday. "It's great, it will be close to a packed house here tomorrow, and you want to play in the big games and the big stage and there's no bigger stage than at the World Cup and we're looking forward to it." Australia will be returning to the All Black citadel where they haven't won an international in 25 years. But former skipper Rocky Elsom said the Wallabies had nothing to fear from their Eden Park jinx. Australia have not won at their hoodoo ground since 1986 and have lost their last 12 Tests against the All Blacks there. But the laconic Elsom saw no reason to be concerned about Saturday's game. "Ireland will have no better record than us over the past 20 years at Eden Park," he said. "So you think someone has got to win, so that would be a good start." Overall, the Wallabies lead the Irish 20-8 with one game drawn, but 4-0 in their World Cup meetings, although two of those matches were decided by a point Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/anyone-but-australia-ireland-inundated-with-support-from-locals-20110916-1kd5s.html#ixzz1Y8GEjVwG |

By:
Romania v Argentina
Gonna be one hell of a battle up front - Laddies goin Evens one or more cards - think that is crackin value |
|
By:
If Pocock is out, I really think Ireland will actually have a great chance of winning. He is that good and he is critical to Deans game plan. We would have a huge advantage in the back row, and if Heaslip and O'Brien keep running at Cooper we will get through them.
The Aussies had previously used Iaone at 10 while defending and had Cooper defending at Full back, with Iaone they might have to use cooper to defend that space which Heaslip and O'Brien love to exploit. |

Been ready to lump on Aus -11 all week but im not havin a bet now - if pocock doesnt play it will be a massive boost for Ire
Think its a back problem but no doubt he will play ![]() |
|
By:
Romania v Argentina
One or more card at evens with Ladddies, only bet tomorrow. Think its really great value, gonna be a tough game up front and will be penalties galore, Romania were penalty machines v the Scots and Argies were nt much better v Eng - hopefully the ref is strict on em ![]() |
|
By:
that one or more cards in the argentina / romania game is an absolute cracking bet allright BJG ......same two packs that started the first matches start again can see it being really physical ...don t think either team know any other way of playing
.....romania really put it up to scotland up front ...argentina will be tougher again .........their performance against scotland together with an argentinian team that seriously lack a treat behind the scrum with no hernadez from the last world cup and conteponi from the last day gives me confidence that they can get within the handicap 21 .....another bad kicking day like the last day from the argentinian kicker would help also ...... on in the south aswell down in invercargill so expect cooler fresher conditions .... romania +21 for me to resume winning ways for the + backers |
|
By:
gl, fair bet imo, been waitin all week to lump on Aus -11 but have got cold feet
![]() Will just sit back and watch |
|
By:
Just do it BJG, I don't know if its national pride holding you back or what but we've being getting slowly worse with every game since the autumn internationals. People will say 'look what we did to England' but for me that was a one off. Far, far too many factors would need to be corrected just to stay within one try of Australia. Oz are arguably as good as NZ now and if we were playing Kiwi we'd be looking at a 20 point handicap.
Three bets for me: Argie/Roma under 44 points 5/6 Fiji over 15 points 10/11 Australia - 11 10/11 |
|
By:
Yellow card Romania 54th min - bet landed again
![]() Good performance from the Argies tbf |

Australia backrower David Pocock was ruled out of the Rugby World Cup clash against Ireland on the morning of Saturday's match because of a back injury, giving Ben McCalman his first test start on the openside flank.
The loss of Pocock, one of the premier ball fetchers in the game, is a serious setback for the Wallabies ahead of the key Pool C match with Ireland. The losing team is likely to ultimately join the side of the knockout draw which contains the defending champion Springboks and top-ranked All Blacks. Absolutely huge loss for Aus, defo no bet now for me |

We are still 20/1 for the world cup.
We will be favs against wales or samoa, evens against England or France, and the wallabies are capable of defeating the all blacks. Seems like a value eway bet. |
|
By:
We'd be 2/1+ against France imo and would prob be evens the pair v Eng
Defo in the softest side of the draw Thats assuming France dont go and beat NZ ![]() |
|
By:
Getting a little carried away vinnie roe, a well deserved win but when the euphoria dies down all todays game amounts to is a really good scalp.
We'll be playing Wales presumedly even though Samoa are no mugs in the so called easier side of the draw?, I watched Wales against the World Champs and absolutely dominated them for long periods, were extremely unfortunate not to have come out with what would have been a merited victory. Feet on the ground guys!. |

17 Sep 11 10:59 if ireland lose this they should retire. What a **** of a comment to make and then not even come back on and congratulate them. Typical begrudger. Unreal performance from the Irish |

To defeat the following:
1.3 - samoa 1.65 - wales 2.0 - England 2.5 - france 3.0 - wallabies 3.0 - s.afica 5.0 - all blacks easiest possible route - samoa, england, s.africa - 7/1 hardest route - wales, france, all blacks - 20/1 7/1 to reach the final looks really enticing. |
