Agreed spyker, why would people speculate that the savage murder of a Reform spokesman in deepest Devon might have been politically motivated. Especially as the legacy media haven't been incessantly whipping up hate for Reform politicians recently.

What is any current Politicians success/legacy likely to be? We have plenty of war criminals, fraudsters, grooming gang cover ups, pdfiles, disgraced politicians who had to resign or get sacked, net zero idealogues, making us all worse off with ludicrous policies, open borders, cost of living crisis, people unable to buy their own home, tax dodgers, antisemetics etc etc etc. Many of them in the last 2 years, many more before that.

I think you will find spyker that most of the time it is the left who bring race etc in to the conversation, it is their whole raison d'etre.

I am something of an Everton historian and would have loved to speak to an actual teacher from those days. Alas, it seems that  i would not really have learned much unless it came from your grandad's imagination, for a start Dixie had minimal schooling - at age 11 he managed to wangle a place at an "industrial" school in Birkenhead just because they had decent footballing facilities there, he had next to no actual education. He left at 14.

His teammates in the "great side" of the late 20s nearly all grew up outside the Liverpool area, so unless your grandad got about an awful lot then there's no way he could have taught them :

She did an interview live on tv from her home which finished around 10.15 wednesday and had agreed to do a similar interview for Ch 5 a few hours later but was uncontactable when it came to her interview slot. Found dead with serious injuries the following morning.
