do 'they'? certainly seems to shut you up. why? if you thought all these nefarious goings-on were mugging off the public you should tell anyone and everyone about it, in great detail but instead conspiracy mugs just mutter about the 'elites' and 'msm' and 'sheeple'and never put up anything to support their outlandish claims. never. why? its a scandal and must be exposed, but never is, except among the online 'truth community'

I've not read all the preceding posts. I understand the Police have arrested a 28 yr old in South Yorkshire, and they are not looking for any other person.

saddo -- yes, presumably he became obsessed with Widdecombe on the basis of her television appearances. The logistics are easy thanks to the internet and satnav.
But that still makes Widdecombe unlucky. And this presumably mentally deficient loner too. There are no winners here. No upside. Well, unless it comes out he'd planned to nick her Rolex or whatever. At least that would make sense as a motive.

It's the inverse isn't, Dixie. She was an active politician for Reform. The only reason/purpose to rule out the most obvious motivation is to deliberately deflect, so that helpful media can report the misdirection.

Yeah why would people who live in an area where a 78 year old woman was bludgeoned to death have the audacity to want some information about what happened.
The expectation is that the police don't lie or deliberately misdirect.
