I’m sure I’ve saved a few looking up the info, stop sniping DD and ask Andrew what on earth his post this morning meant so you’re consistently critical of everyone and not just me! Wink

Yes I backed a couple at big prices which I knew would shorten, I’ve been able to trade and they are free bets.

Any chance of telling the Forum what they are?

Lucky Gosden said after the Craven thatTHIS  race was his main aim, he has a good drawn so they’ll be happy.

Daryzan was very impressive on debut, if the extra distance suits then might take some stopping, 8.0 on here. stable with a 34% strike rate this last fortnight, looking forward to the race.

Quote failed. Be careful what Gosden says after races - reporters and Joe public are his rabble.
Dreadful toff, might have been in even more of a bad mood.

I cannot have Con River today. I'd have Daryzan and Haw Mountain, mainly for value, their form and standing. Con River is lauded by connections and the journos, but their opinions are probably bias and subjective.

I hope a very good horse wins. I hope the winner if not one of AOB's would do battle with the British horses in The Eclipse and / or King George.

Montreal shouldn’t be ignored at the price in my opinion…..decent place value as well considering the draw…..

Cheers Frogger for the advice, he can be like that, but as the owner had Make Believe and Mishriff I think that he was being genuine.

I won £10 on the Jackpot spin today. I stopped playing for a long without winning anything. IA free spin yesterday amounted to nothing. Today a sweet tenner.

What shall I put it on? Possibly a quid each on Hawk and Daryzan or a fiver on Con River. Or none at all but save it for Royal Ascot instead.

Don't ask Delbert as he appears to have taken a vow of silence on the outcomeLaugh

I'm on Hanklow @ 18s on here with a place saver.
Led for a long way in the FR2000Gs which was his debut for the season.
Looked like he would be swallowed up but stayed on quite well when headed.
Drawn on the inside he should get a good position & it's then whether he
stays or not,if he does can see him running a big race today.

well done on the daily spin imp - i always play these little bookie freebies, literally takes seconds to do so why not ? Got £33 quid on my spin here the other day, not life changing amounts but not to be sniffed at as they all add up. Remember the W Hill one a while back ? I won a few hundred on the free spins over the months for very little effort until they pulled it.

Paddys had a promo on the Champs League final yesterday - put a £1 minimum bet builder on at odds of at least 3/1 that wins and share a pot of £250k amongst all successful punters. I have seen these pay reasonable dividends before and so did a couple of £1 bets, one came in at odds of 6/1 gleaning me a return of a whole 7 quid Grin but it meant that i qualified for the bonus which was paid today - £182, not bad for a quid bet Cool

I am sticking with Komorebi today, it's more open than the betting suggests. The fav will have to be a very good horse to defy that draw.

When New Bay won he was in the last 2 coming around the bend.
Hope that Constitution River does get a good clear run at it to see
how good he is.

Anyone else watching Chantilly on France Galop?  My french is not great but I love the coverage of French racing.  Good ride by Oisin in the last and his Franglais is pretty good, doesn't quite stretch to "lovely draw" though.

Sky coverage very poor, still not seen horses, the shot from padock over hedge looks like someone holding a phone, all the interviews, then ads but no horses, will waste more time and prob miss parade, disappointing.

One might think they don't want to show the HORSES.

Think Hawk Mountain would have won over River if you swap jockeys. Ryan gave it a peach, Christophe waited rather long to try to get Hawk giving his all.

Con River did very well to win from that draw. The AOB's trio was in the front 3 throughout with Montral making the pace followed by Hawk Mountain with Con River a close up 3rd.

A case of numbers win?

Gave each other a nice smile and fist bump after the line. Certainly seemed that Soumillon wasn't keen to go all out when he knew it was Cons River next to him Laugh

Very disappointing race. It was a workout for the first three and the rest just sat back and did

nothing until it was far too late.
