Like so many, I hate it, and can't find my way round the racecards
It's hard to believe that they didn't get 100 or more beta testers - that weren't working for RP and closely involved in the project. It has the hallmarks of Windows software writers justifying their existence. |

Well i have not had a bet since it changed so fck it cancelled my subscription this morning.

Mail sent to RP
I am writing to you to express dismay at the new layout of your racecards Looks and feels a total mess Examples Too much white space - makes the runners info too far apart The info next to horse name e.g. jockey, trainer, days last run etc are in too small font Cards don't open in race number order Cards carry over the last option click on - such as TS,RPR etc rather than reset to Card number To get the TS/RPR etc options you have to double click on tab to get in best order The banner headings including TS/RPR tabs should be in a bigger clearer font The Verdict info has no reason to be at the top of the card I could go on but thats' a start |

Scrap it and reduce the paper price to £2.50.

Nobody seems to be getting meaningful responses to their emails to the helpdesk Done it there also below comments are a reply he made to someone else Jodie Standing @jode2k75 · May 19 I've tried to give the 'new look' Racing Post racecards the benefit of the doubt but unless I'm missing something, there is no option to toggle the pedigrees on and off. You have to click on each horse individually? Major flaw surely. Tell me this is a beta version please... Tom Kerr @ThomasKerrRP Settings > toggle pedigree on |

I used to work in an office with duties that included writing for and supervision of the website. If something was to be put on the website it was
1. Checked by the author 2. Checked by a colleague of the author 3. Checked by me 4. CHECKED BY SOMEONE WHO WOULD USE THE ITEM I will give 50/1 that item 4 did not happen at the RP. PS This advice is provided free for anyone who is involved in website design and use. It will assist in the design of 50% of websites currently in use in the UK. |

I pay a lot of money to access the Pro (giggle) Card option. Under the new design this seems not to include the last 10 years results of a particular race (todays Prix D'Ispahan page a case in point) which I find very useful and the main reason I subscribe. Anyone else similarly inconvenienced or perhaps someone can tell me where that infos been hidden ?

With the flat season fast approaching peak number of races per day, you would have been hard pressed to find a more disruptive time to do a release, except maybe the night before the Grand National or Cheltenham. It is really beyond belief.

Clicked on the Odds for a race whilst looking around (the terrible) website
It has added the horse to a Betslip which I can't get rid of Logged out but it still remains as an irritant at the bottom of the screen Any ideas how to clear this Belslip? |

I had that problem. The only way I could get rid of it was to close the laptop down. Ridiculous if thats the only way. I closed my subscription today.

Standard reply from what i've seen already on here
Thank you for getting in touch. Our racecards were updated earlier this week in what will provide a more enhanced, streamlined and future-ready interface. These cards lay a foundation for exciting new features as well as putting vital information at the front and centre of your viewing experience. We’re confident that after using the new racecards for a few races, you will find them far more efficient! Please find below a link to a video explainer from our resident Betting Editor, Keith Melrose; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tJ6uycL9y0 Should you have any questions, please feel free to get back in touch where we’d be happy to provide some further information. Kind regards, Harry Racing Post Customer Services (Part of the Spotlight Sports Group) |

Keith Melrose ... I might have guessed - an unreadable stats nerd who doesn't believe in form study and finds pounds and lengths old-fashioned and too much fuss to bother with. This has his illiterate paws all over it.

Its all well and good saying that the future will be ok
But you have put out an upgrade that is not user friendly The focus of it seems to be tips Rather than what the serious punter wants to see - the facts in easy one click scenario What's the point in asking for questions when you don't answer any of them Just a generic reply that is of no use The general consensus I have seen is that the site is a pigs ear and you will lose subscribers unless you tidy the site up to make it user friendly |

@madhatters - Thanks for posting.
Seems to me that they should have left the PRO card broadly as it was and done all these nice colours new fonts and extra click-thrus to the compact or summary card views. The PRO card should have been left for serious form viewers who need to efficiently go through the data and move on to the next race. |

It's now taking me double the time (at least) to get to a view on a race than previously.
