for many they had 1% stake that's £21k, which is obviously still a lot, but they potentially had a group 1 superstar on their hands and likely to be the best horse they'll ever be involved in, so hard to want to sell, especially given seemingly the masses of others were keen to keep

I agree TTT....Basher sometimes inflates numbers but I do like his enthusiasm for the game.....nice to see them all cheering the horse in when beaten....surely good for the game

Seems a nice chap making a very decent living from syndicate management and membership fees. Clueless punter though, no doubt. Which is why he has bookies taking his bets. Can obviously afford to lose a few grand here or there no probelmo given his earnings. Good luck to him.
