Background: I'm a working-class dad who has been developing a systematic approach to horse racing over the past eight months, treating it as a legitimate side business rather than a form of gambling. Started with £50 and built it to £500+ through disciplined bankroll management and value hunting.

Recent Results (Last 2 Months):

60 bets placed

£396 total stakes

£595.49 returns

50.4% ROI

Consistent £3 E/W staking.

June-July Performance Metrics:
Strike Rate: 5.56% (1 winner from 18 bets)
Place Rate: 38.89% (7 places including 1 winner)
Profit Margin: 65.01%
ROI:65.01%
Monthly Profit: +£70.21p

July-August
Strike Rate: 9.1%(3 winners from 33 bets)
Place Rate: 36.4%(12 places from 33 bets)
Profit Margin: 225%
ROI:225%
Monthly Profit: £371.29p

My system focuses on identifying undervalued horses with odds of 20/1 or higher.

My System Focus:

Ground condition analysis (huge edge when horses are mispriced on unfamiliar surfaces)

Trainer form patterns (hot/cold yards)

Equipment changes (first-time headgear, removals)

Course specialists and jockey bookings

Handicap angles and targeted entries

I work full-time and do all my analysis late evenings after my lad is asleep. Time is limited, but I'm dedicated, and this is about building something for my family's future. Looking to go part-time with this in 3-4 years.

What I'm Looking For: Anyone who gets it - someone equally driven but maybe with a bigger bankroll or complementary skills. Need someone who understands that this is real work, done around real life, not some fantasy get-rich-quick scheme.

What I Offer:

Proven profitable methodology and developmental system

Detailed selection process and reasoning

Disciplined approach to bankroll management

Consistent documentation of all bets

Genuine commitment despite time constraints

Actually, will take action

Not looking for tipster followers or people with unrealistic expectations. Seek a genuine partnership with someone who understands the challenges.

Happy to share detailed results privately with genuinely interested parties.

Cheers

Alright la, clearly taking the piss here, you. I don't want anybody's money, mate. I want someone to share research, workload load and bounce off form analysis and create systems with. I don't care about winners, my profit is made from high-priced placed horses and the huge odds winner. I lose roughly 11-16 bets before a big-priced winner, but I place consistently enough.

Are you messing, lad? I back 20/1 or bigger horses. I don't care for winners, mate, I care for profit over long periods. I never back favs ever.

Because I work full time on building sites mate. I'll increase stakes at £750 perhaps. my end game for this year is £1000, which is possible with abit of luck aswell as a lot of hard work and skill. i get it tho. people are right to be sceptical. And no, I stake small, increasing ever so often. I cannot afford to lose my betting balance.

Look you can either read a race or you can‘t
95% of punters can‘t read a race, or price up a
Race, and the same 95% wouldn’t be able to
Spot the Rick either, or the underpriced one‘s

And you can‘t teach it either, it come with
Experience. You shouldn’t be punting on horse
If you can’t do any of the above. Thank you

okmate. Thanks for that, I'll take that onboard. I thought two heads would be better than one for something like this, but maybe that's not the case.

Systems never last is what I've learnt as I've developed and trialed a few now. But I get ya, lad. Appreciate the honesty. My main focus is to keep my betting bank intact and profitable. for me its far to early to be upping the stakes.

alright la, 14/1. so bit below what my system normally focuses on. It was hard to find any real value bets that I thought could potentially qualify, so I focused on other analysis angles and tried to assess the true ability of the horse and the jockeys' riding style alongside other factors. I've been learning that you have to be flexible... so if odds are lower than 20/1 I will come down and perhaps bet if I believe there is value to be had nothing lower then 12/1-14/1 tho. I'm trying to add and develop angles to my core system, as I know they can only work for so long. all of my places are at bigger odds and fit my systems.

because i cannot under any circumstances can i  afoord to lose my betting blance. £ 15 E/W stakes at a £30 overall bet would make my lose my balance rapid. i get what your saying but losing runs are a common occurrence, and do i lose more bets than a win? of course I do. Slow progress better then no progress.

alright la, yeah ive got a little lad. i work full time on private sites as a hoddy. No machines or any of that, just old school brickie gang so i can sometimes be working either 8-12 hours depending upon what's required from the job at the time. I also have training commitments... so most of my analysis done for big race meets is late at night... beween 10pm-4-5 am and then back up for work. Yeah, it was very hard at first but now I'm used to it la.

GL, but your sample size is way too small to be meaningful at those odds, imo.
By:

As I've said, if you've a knack for picking nice price winners, stick to what you're doing and you'll soon be upping stakes playing with their money, risk free. Once someone else (maybe one of the 98% of losers on here) join you, it's no longer your analysis and angles (the ones you think will continue to be successful) and it will only go one way. Good luck

your right, mate. need a lot more sample bets to make sure it can potentially become more profitable in the long term. i have all bets tracked from last year and this but system sample only between 6-8 months. so looks more like 12 months will be needed.

I have to say that WillM922's opening post, in terms of layout/presentation, is definitely amongst the best I've seen in all my years one here.

It suggests to me that he is a well-educated individual.

All the best to you, your lad & your family.

ROI cannot continue at 50% - there will be a 'lucky' element in there.

Read a few articles on variance. You think you have a winning approach. and you may have , but you just have got lucky to some degree. . Even bad punters can win over a 60 bet sample, and good punters can lose.

As pointed out, you need a sample size way higher than 60 , before you can even start to make to reach meaningful conclusions.

If you could afford £3ew with a £50 bank then you should be increasing stakes with a £500 bank (assuming your belief that you have an edge is correct).

Prepare to start getting accounts closed and stakes reduced, until it all becomes a waste of time and effort. "They" don't like value EW bets - the bookies' algorithm will beat you into submission.
By:

Was June / July 7 places from 18 bets?

Wonder why you aren’t place betting only? 4 winners from 51 bets means a lot of your stake is being wiped out. Of course those winners are likely to be good at the prices that you cite.
