“serious partner to scale up”.  Really?!  So he or she puts in your identical 100%.  Please explain where the “scaling up” occurs?

He’s the first scouser I’ve ever seen who writes the way he talks! He can string a sentence together though.

You do need to up your stakes. You’ve got a big enough bank for £5ew.

Look you can either read a race or you can‘t
95% of punters can‘t read a race Shocked

I wonder what the percentage is of golf players not ok with giving out their handicaps or telling which London clubs they’ve played?! ConfusedLaugh

All the best to you, lad, as well. self-educated definitely haha! trying to just improve as much as I can, only at the start of this journey. Three years deep into this, it's not even scratching the surface, but I'm learning and developing as I go. tah mate (Y)

your right, lad. That's only over a small sample of two months from a system I have been working on manually. I'd be happy with an ROI of 22-27% in the long term.

Good luck with it Will, you’ll get lots of mick taking but profit is profit. Was June / July 7 places from 18 bets?

im not arsed me. can tell when people are serious and when they're not. i dont pick winners i care for profit. winners look great but profit is all i care about me  and protecting me betting blance... its took me 8 months to build up to over £500 in my balance from small progressive stakes so why would i try and fix it if its not broken yet. yeah 7 places that included the winner. So 7 places from 18 bets and 1 winner from 18 bets. bigger priced places tho so helped to keep the proft ticking over.

Will-you haven't answered the most important question- where (and when) are you placing these bets?

If you're cherry picking the best price the evening before it's only a matter of time before you won't get £3 on.

But if these are placed at SP you might be on to something

skybet and bet365. yes night before. So deffo been losing value. Never used the betting exchange. Another reason why i made this thread to see if genuine, serious punters were on here to help and offer some advice/experience. all my bets have to be placed night befor mate as im on site for 7 in the morning.

Haha, lad, we all do. Are you messing you? Doesn't everyone do that? £5 E/W... I'd need to take a look at how much percentage of my betting balance I would be staking per bet, so it stays within my safety margin. I'll deffo take that advice on board, tho my mate. tah for that buddy (Y)

I agree with t2r earlier, fair play to you

Without reading all of the posts, would you not be better off just betting in the 3/4/5 place markets on here? Saving your win stakes which are making negligible profits? As opposed to the place stakes which are the profit makers .. Plus no bookie restrictions that will be forthcoming
By:

4 winners from 51 at mostly 20/1 or over is very profitable.

Yeah, jml agree there, I didn't word it very well

I should have said that from his own words, it looks like he's aiming for big priced placed horses with the winners being a bonus, and the place aspect being more profitable

Yes, I think that would help, mate. I've never used Betfair before and I won't lie, I have no understanding of the site. That's something I need to look into. 3 years ago, I knew nothing about punting on horses, now I would say I could give most people a good run for their money la. Cheers, my mate. appreciate the helpful advice, I take all this onboard, my mate (Y)

tah mate. Yeah makes up for the bets that I lose on or don't place. It suits my style. I'm not about backing shorter-priced odds horses.

Nothing wrong with his strategy--he's just overlooked or wasn't aware of the bookmakers rules-- thou shalt not win.
