Tommy has no go nads but a lovely lad, how da fcuk can You bet on golf, 160 in the field, 50 capable of winning Hugely dependant on draw, early late, late early, weather huge Variable, and the filth price up under on almost everything Should be 14s the field minimum, but the mugs will play Rory n Scott At 6s or 7s The gift that keeps on giving.....Thanks Poncho |

I bet several all with a view to greening up and had done so on Keegan Bradley before he even teed off. On the Thursday ( or Friday ) before he was 180.0. The day before he was 120.0 so I take it. I should greened on Spaun and didn’t then when Harmon came good I made my money from him. What a great decision. I didn’t let the greed take over and laid him back. He was 180.0 in advance, and varied from 150.0 to 230.0 leading up - ludicrous for a former winner still playing well and with a deceptively decent record in the Open. He would have been a £10.5k winner so when he dropped to around 13.0 at one stage I cashed in. My biggest winner by far would have been Im but he never got going so I couldn’t trade back and, sadly, my lay of Dustin Johnson came unstuck.
I bet Rose and cleared my feet, Fleetwood same, Lowry same. No profit, no losses. For some reason I lumped on Im and kept doing it. He would have been a huge winner if he’d done anything at all. But he didn’t. Overall I made small profit on the week but had a great run. Finally I had a loose £1 on Fitzpatrick to lead on day one, with a few others too. He came good at 50.0 but shared it with four others so I won a princely £9. ![]() Sometimes you get lucky but this year I took the trouble to research ten days in advance. It makes a huge difference, as does that bit of luck that finds you the right ones. |
By:
I bet Schauffele too and got rid of him on day 2 as well.

Well done all the winners on here, its a shame most of you didnt post PRE the event as the OP was asking.
Ten pages and I cant see one person who actually thought Scheffler would win.? I know FA about Golf other than following Fleetwood in the big Tournys for a few £s ( just for an intrest ), what I cant understand is the amount of folk who manage to " Trade for a profit " on players that have only got bigger in odds from day 1. ?? |
