It's not difficult to those willing to get off their backsides and makes things happen... Shops Syndicate Take SP The ones aware of such a strategy usually end up moaning anyway because they're too lazy and expect to play them like any other bet on their internet accounts , in other words want everything to fall on their lap instead of finding solutions instead of problems. Don't convert too many FatStal as the less the better ![]() |

i used to do it meself and was happy to take sp because you can get on, within reason, as im sure you know, and they were often put in artificialy short. best i ever had; hendo beast 6/1 in novice hurdle against 1/3 jolly. didnt take it and returned 18/1 winner. totes amazeballs but the margins have shrunk since the sp mechanism changed and also, i rarely get up before 2 pm |

CalgiariG - apologies - I scan read your post initially and have read it fully now.

Hayden - thanks. Tried to explain to folk who don't get each way value. You can lead a horse to water but if they don't want to bet 1/10 shots at 1/4 you can't make them drink...

Mitolo - we are a small independent bookmaker. We trade as Cairn Bet. Mainly Scottish tracks with the odd trip to Newcastle for their big days. Also work Aintree Grand National, Cheltenham Festival (by Guinness Village) and Royal Ascot (Windsor Enclosure). We blog when we work - combination of betting review of our books, poor jokes and surreptitiously hidden indie lyrics. If you're interested just Google Cairn Bet and you'll find our nonsense- I won't post a link as that's poor form.
SP poor value now it's generated off course, as you say, at the top of the market. Can almost guarantee prices bigger on course than SP at 10/1 or shorter. Overround made to look better than it is by sticking rags at 250/1 which takes up a tiny fraction of the market. |

Sprint at Hamilton at 6/4 ffs Sometimes you slip a few short favs in so the bookies keep taking your bets...gives 'em hope that they will win in the long run. HF and his mate did it. Kidology. |

Does Frankel at 7/2 return more than ShattyhouseRocket @ 7/2?

He picks a 6yo rated 58 with 37 runs, completely exposed, no edge
Not an improver, be hard to accept a free bet on it, well beat 9s Then one of goldies, who pulled up last time, pulled up again, tailed off fs No reason or edge to back any of his, ok im stating nox This bloke hadnt got a fcuking clue, bluffée/guesser. 3 months I’ll give him |

Why don't you go head to head with him over the next 4 weeks, Poncho.
Evey bet you have, put it up here BEFORE the race. Points staked. Then you can show him up for the charlatan he is. |

You will learn nothing watching these wannabe pro punters, better off teaching yourself, start with looking at the results and learning to understand why a horse won that race today, this type of media will lead you up the garden path.

Winger 1247 post great reply
This lad has been around a lot longer than many of you seem to realise the best part of 20 years ago he was working for his uncle a racecourse bookmaker As an annual member at haydock I was very pleased to have him as our liaison person and I can tell you the reciprocal fixtures he got for us were amazing as I said in my earlier post on here I have no idea about his tipping capabilities but I do know he is a very helpful lad and when I bump into on course you always get a laugh with him I for one Hope he stands the test of time very few have |
