Chapman will be hoping he fails of course
By:
Why
By:
Also how good is Colin keane? I don't know, he's OK, maybe ge is really good, anyone enlighten me please.
But the best of luck to him anyway. |
By:
Chapman will be fine. It's someone else for him to fawn over.
By:
How good is Colin Keane?
One of the best jockeys in the World. |
By:
Really cloone you think
By:
A definite improvement from Shoemark
By:
Yes he is.
By:
Ok fair play to him, I didn't realise.
By:
A juggling act will be needed imo
By:
Do you watch much racing G Hall?
By:
It will be interesting to see what happens now with regard to the Ballydoyle 'spares', as judging from the Oaks / Derby distribution of rides, Keane seemingly was still being groomed to take over from Ryan Moore when the time comes.
By:
"Rupert" shows no sign of retiring George
By:
As Franny Norton said, uptheirons, 'the game retires you', and I suspect as far as the Ballydoyle gig is concerned, the decision to move on gets made for you!
By:
He is probably riding at his best atm George but as you said regarding Coolmore
By:
Yes cloone I do, he didn't give Red Letter a particularly good ride at Navan yesterday.
By:
Not surprising that considering he'd just ridden in the Derby!
By:
![]() ![]() |
By:
So cloone the answer is the racing enthusiast doesn't watch the racing after all
By:
How often is he going to come over here? It gives them options to ditch Murphy and Hayes. I did suggest the other day that Kalpana could benefit from getting rid of Murphy. Soumillon will be disappointed to lose the ride on Sunly.
By:
Colin Keane is at Limerick tonight G.Hall if you want to see how good he is.
By:
Didn’t have to wait long cloone
By:
The two rides at York Ebor day last year, this years French 2000 guineas, Westover King George....
By:
Not a great start there.
By:
Just unlucky Clerkmore
By:
No mistake with that one.

Proof again what a clown Chapman is. As I suggested earlier on the thread he clearly hopes Keane is a failure.
By:
Thanks for putting that up MJK Chapman probably does not watch Irish flat racing.
By:
An interesting week awaits….
By:
Anybody doubting Keane knows little about racing
By:
Chapman ranting and raving yesterday to get the going changed after a bit of rain and on the basis of an amateur riders' contest...Not sure the times later on the card justified it.
Anyone know what Timeform have adjusted the going to? |
By:
What Matt is saying is Keane stinking the place out on those big race rides and not a word compared to Kieron Shoemark getting slaughtered ....
By:
Becket readily admits that it was entirely his fault for Westover in the King George as he was far too keen throughout.
In a nutshell, you are talking nonsense itsfuntorun |
By:
Now now keep it civil, apart from the fact that Beckett couldnt possibly have caused the horse to run free, he immediately replaced Keane with Rob Hornby for the Arc, what do you think of the 2 rides on last years Ebor day or the 2 rides Chapman is referencing????
By:
I don't care a jot about Chapman's opinions.
I shouldn't have to tell you but The King George run followed on two races in the English and Irish Derby. The horse was given a decent break before its next race. You either understand horses or you don't. |
By:
Ok,but Westover ran 3 races in 2023 in much the same timespan, second in the coronation cup, should have won in my opinion, won the group 1 in France and second in the king George. Beckett never put Keane up again. What about the 2 rides at york Ebor day 2024????????
By:
Becket stated that he should not have run the horse in The King George.
You are entitled to your opinion but I suspect Juddmonte might just be a better judge of a jockey than you. |
