Unlikely to hoot people if trying to run them over. Seems lost all sense of rationality, flip mode. As is quite common, a sequence of unpredictable events leading to a terrible outcome. Diminished responsibility perhaps. Looks like a complicated case.

Looking like when an ambulance enters such an area it should be followed by a police vehicle to prevent anything following it.

doesn't answer the ? of why he/the car wanted to drive in to a crowded rd,was this tailgating before or after the supposed drinking in pub,didn't see an ambulance in the early coverage,was this before the pub [ if true ] and just been a clever koont getting in to a no go area for cars ?

If people knew (or thought) he was unfit to drive, wouldn't be too surprising if they tried to stop him heading into a huge crowd. Why apparently tailgate an ambo into the crowd in the first place. Lots of questions that won't likely be answered in the short term.

A retired police traffic "expert" said on Sky that no vehicle should have been allowed within half a mile of the route of the bus for any reason and he seemed to be saying that allowing the car into that area was a major **** up by somebody.

this just feels like police/council answering why car was in the no go zone, any drink/drug taking could have happened after this, why would you drive in to a no go area area with 100,s of police if you were full of drugs, although could be a long term pot/coke head and would fail a drug test at anytime ,doesn't mean he,d taking them yesterday or was mashed,just failed the test

Drink and drugs impair judgment massively. What can seem like a bit of a laugh can turn out to be a very bad idea.

That’s because they had to say he was white just to quell the neanderthals who were all ready to exploit it. Tell you what would have happened if he was black/muslim, exactly the same circumstances, it would have been, they don’t know our ways, why was he pist, burn down hotels etc etc.

like failing a breath test failing a drugs test doesn' automaticaly = off your face.could be in system from sat night,last week etc,or a permanent skunk user who,d fail the test but act normal to others

Lies are the new currency. They can earn you power and money. You can say whatever you like with no accountability, if somebody contradicts you with real facts, you can just accuse them of lying. If you think there is nobody on this thread, on Social Media, in the gutter press, in politics, in international politics, etc, etc, that is disappointed by the nationality/ethnicity of this driver - you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
