Do you have any idea?

What about Starlink making the internet available globally? How do you think that will affect peoples ability to create wealth in poor countries, less need for people to move to wealthier european coutries to improve their lives affecting human resourcing here and businesses

Mass unemployment due to AI giving more time for leisure pursuits for those being awarded UBI. Crowd size effect?

Most wealth kept by the new AI trillionaires do they need to bet, does it reduce wealth elsewhere for those who have done. Crowd size effect?

AI robots monitoring and controlling the going/watering for more accurate reports.

3d view of commentators using Google Beam announced a week ago for more interactive TV viewing.

this is the kind of framework that companies will subscribe to in order to pay for x ‘agents’ of a specific type needed for an individual task/part of a job in the workflow needed to complete it. agent = ex-employee and you can set up as many as you pay for. More wealth transferred from workers to our soon to be trillionaire companies unfortunately.

for a member of the public they will probably pay a flat price for a job done by invisible (to them) agents it is likely to just be say £200 to apply for probate. the agent asks you if the details (it knows are needed to complete forms) listed about you are up to date and to modify if so and other figures. Ask the agent to perform the task and it goes away communicates with other agents at the other end to complete necessary forms on your behalf to complete probation. Job done and paid for.
By:

When: 30 May 25 13:29
of course greed is easy to predict.

what happens is the hirers of the people who process probate have been lured by the cheap costs of agents at their end by entrepreneurs like the guy above as incentive to gain immediate wage profits replacing them with agents.

the probate management people price the agent solution they have subscribed to very low to customers wanting to complete probate using that method (via say ChatWhatever) who save a ton. Gradually the workers disappear and the rich get richer ( think supermarkets selling cheap at the start to put competition out of business then royally shafting us with prices now) and we end up paying the same from benefits (hopefully in time) as the cost rises back to what it was before and more again.

companies do not care about you it’s why we used to have effective unions.

Bookies may use their own developers to write agent types (get price offer and amount agent, take bet agent, account enquiries agent) to use in these configurable vertical frameworks setting up however many agents they need, paying more to the framework owners for more agents on a weekend and big meetings. Scalable so they dont have too many people serving in bookies in quiet periods as they have now .. agents only when needed.

Bookie agents negotiate a price with your own agent and take bets from your agent if the minimum price you ask for is offered anywhere. Websites will be used initially by computer-using agents (CUA just been introduced) but via voice and ChatWhateverBookmaker without even visiting a website. The CUA agents read webpages and use websites for you.

In time bookie sites and oddschecker wont be needed eventually it will be a straight request and answer via a new kind of protocol between agents.

That will be due to the knock on effects of these people who got together this week for $6.5 billion and their next mysterious AI invention coming in the next year or so. It isn't going to have a screen.

Sam Altman and Jony Ive new AI device is an attempt by OpenAI (ChatGPT) to get it's own hardware device (Apple have iPhone, Google android etc) to complement their AI models that will be neural networks in the $500 billion 400,000 GPU datacentre just about to be built in Texas it is twice the size of Musk's. The power of AI is governed by the thinking time of the models which is scalable relating to how many GPU's you have.

Google have a huge advantage controlling Chrome browser the gateway to the internet. Altman and Ives imo are going to try and bypass using browsers and this new mystery device without a screen (but using CUA initially) is their big hope of doing this. just imo :) i think that will lead to agents just talking to each other outside of the web's http:// in the years after that it could be a Google nightmare new protocol .. who knows.

Google are basing their new AI around their browser.

…typo

..will lead to agents talking to each other without the use of a mobile screen or mic therefore without the Chrome browser and Google’s agent ecosphere and Safari browser.
By:
eric_morris
When: 31 May 25 23:31
anyone guess what the device will be?

maybe an ai assistant that has cameras and mic to be aware of your surroundings that you can talk to using agents to communicate over the web without a screen. the device will need a visual output still and it wont be Chrome browser it defeats the object. The idea of Ives is to avoid the drawbacks associated with having an iphone which is i guess screen time and preventing social contact ideally without wearing anything.

I think it might be something like volumetric holograms generated but real-time so the person you may talk to can appear in front of you as a hologram.

By:

When: 31 May 25 23:41
i just found this on Google browser AI Overview lol.

Generating a real-time hologram of a remote object involves capturing its 3D information, processing it, and then projecting it as a holographic image. This process requires advanced technology and can be broken down into several key steps:
1. Capturing the 3D Data:
Volumetric Capture:
A light-field camera records the light from the object from multiple angles simultaneously, creating a 3D representation of the scene.
Point Cloud Extraction:
Using techniques like LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) or structured light, a point cloud is created, representing the object's 3D structure.
Depth Maps:
Algorithms like MiDaS (Mid-Level Depth Estimation) can be used to create depth maps from 2D images, which can then be used to generate holograms.
2. Processing the 3D Data:
Computer-Generated Holography (CGH):
Specialized algorithms, often using techniques like Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) or neural networks, are used to calculate the holographic patterns required to project the 3D image.
Real-time Processing:
Advanced algorithms and hardware, including GPUs, are necessary to process the 3D data and generate holographic images in real-time.
3. Projecting the Hologram:
Spatial Light Modulator (SLM):
A device that modulates light beams according to the holographic patterns generated by the computer, creating the 3D image.
Holographic Display:
A display that utilizes the holographic patterns to project a 3D image into space, allowing the viewer to perceive the object as if it were actually there.
4. Examples of Technologies:
Holoportation
uses volumetric capture and holographic projection to create a real-time, life-sized hologram of a person.
Tensor holography
uses AI to generate holograms from images with depth information, enabling real-time 3D holography on devices like smartphones.
Neural networks
are being used to accelerate CGH, allowing for faster and more efficient hologram generation.

thought they might use this technology, lower power in-memory processing on an ai assistant device it uses far less power than GPU’s and has higher neural network density so more processing in a smaller space. seems a short timescale if so though. believe they are working on their own version of something to replace GPU’s for the device itself.

so the way i try to find out about anything or anyone is by looking at their actions rather than words. i do it with trainers lol with anyone and anything it gives you the best indicator of what something or someone really is rather than what they want you to think they are.

the fact Ocean Finance seem to be the earliest trial adopter of a vertical AI framework (earliest i have seen) suggests strongly to me that anyone aware of such a framework in early adopters is likely to be a company owned by the AI entrepreneurs themselves. what that therefore tells me is they are ok with payday loans they make fortunes out of them. that tells me they care little about humanity and are about to take a lot of jobs to fuel their greed.

they are the parasites we really need to watch out for.

the likes of Musk is really a technologist and great organiser of teams of the best brains on the planet containing the closest to genius you are likely to get in terms of modern technologies to bring about innovation. he takes a lot of the credit for their work and has the hundreds of billions to fund it but i think also cares about the future of humanity with space colonisation. he might even solve healthcare and care homes with Optimus.

i think all politicians are in some way corrupt due to their desire for power. i think Musk does it because he genuinely is a geek and has effectively used Trump as a means of accelerating innovation as has Altman so in that respect you could call him out. Musk will have started coding around the same time i did it is crazy to think we have come this far in around 45 years since personal computers became freely available, BBC micro and ZX Spectrum spring to mind.

I discovered something else that made me laugh (er not really) today. ChatGPT gaffer Sam Altman who just got funding for the $500 billion data centre in the States used to be the CEO of Y Combinator. Guess who is funding the company FlowiseAI producing this software for which there were tutorials on line nearly a year ago. They knew up front and had the software written by then way in advance it looks like they have waited for the right time to issue P45s across the globe.
